Kept my dog, fashionable, comfortable and protected after surgery. She had it 24/7 for three weeks and she was able to eat with it on, sleep with it and it fit her perfectly. Just measure your dog before buying this. It’s really good quality I know its going to last us a while.

My 9 yo mixed breed female about 65 lbs fits an XL perfectly. She had an almost completely torn cruciate ligament and required TTP procedure to stabilize her knee she's crafty, sneaky, and part of the reason she is in this mess is her ability to escape the crate at her own peril. She was miserable with the one from the vet. I don't have enough good things to say here about this option instead of the standard e-collar. The internal collar loops are a game changer. She knocked it off on day 6 and I started using her collar through the loops inside and she can't remove it. This dog can't escape the donut even if she really wanted too. We remove the plastic shield when we are in the room and put it back on for bedtime or when we are at work. Well constructed, holding up beautifully on day 6. For escape masters suggest putting the collar through the loops. Fit per size guide. Highly recommend. Much more comfortable. Can eat/drink with it. Suggest using the plastic shield when not in line of sight as different body builds could allow reaching back feet or legs if they are particularly flexible. Adding the shield would address that completely. Well worth the peace of mind!!!

I got this for my dog after she had a surgery to remove a lump from her foot. The vet said she needed to wear a cone for TWO WEEKS, which is an eternity in dog years. So it was important to find something that kept her from licking her foot, but also comfortable for her. This "donut" fits the bill! It's sturdy and easy to keep clean. The size measurements as listed worked perfectly for my 60-lb dog. The plastic part held up very well to being used as a bulldozer. My dog has crashed it into just about every part of the house to no ill effect. She also learned to embrace the donut as a pillow and does not mind at all when putting it on or taking it off. She absolutely could not get to her foot with this. I also like that I can zip the plastic part off and just use the inflatable part if needed. And to top it off, it's super cute! I highly recommend this product and if Cookie could write, I think she would too. This product is so much better than the Cone of Shame we got from the vet!

This popped when my dog ran into a door frame with it on. It was cute and fit well, but was an utter waste of money. We had to go buy him a cone after all because this lasted only two days of wear. A very stressful post surgery experience.

Would be a 5 star but it's not a tall enough cone to prevent my dog from licking after neutering. I have to add another I bought that was too big (I didn't measure properly). I love it and it would be perfect if it were a smidge taller in cone or doughnut.

Our pup has a mass that started bleeding and couldn’t get surgery scheduled until a week later. She will need to be in a can for about 3 weeks total. I wanted her to be comfortable. Wearing the cone she just wanted to lay in bed all day, it seemed like it was putting pressure on her neck at times and I’m sure caused a volume increase. She didn’t want to go outside with it. She didn’t want to eat either. We purchased this and noticed a difference. We use just the donut when supervised and put a cone on when we are leaving or asleep. This has been amazing. The detachable shield is great, it zips on and off and it’s shorter than the typical cone. My only complaint is the width of it when on. She got used to is though, only snagging a few times, of course. She will now go outside without an issue, will eat and drink, and now she has the ability to get on the couch (the regular cone the vet supplied was so long it bounced her off and I thought she’d broken something falling). Added bonus, she seems comfortable and now has a neck pillow until she’s done healing after her surgery. I’ve seen some say it’s difficult to blow up, but to me it was like blowing up any pool float. Pull the material in the opposite side from the opening and it’s easier. The cloth looks easy to clean and has a zip area that allows you to remove the material from the innards. It also has a strap for the opening to the donut to secure the product on the pet. We LOVE this.

Needed a cone since my puppy was getting spayed. This is a great, comfortable cone; however, the zipper broke after 3 days and we could no longer use the cone.
