  • Exactly as described!
Color: Donut Pink Size: L-(Neck 11"-14")
This feels not cheap! Good material and very adorable! Easy to inflate. My Chihuahua needed a L which was weird but accurate per the sizing chart. He had an injury to his testicles so he's able to be a lot more mobile than if he got neutered. so this allowed him to eat easier and walk around so much better than the normal cone! Walking down his doggy steps is a little tough though because it's wide. Love it though! Feels very soft and it's wide enough so he can't chew on his bits! Worth the money! And easy to come off. He can't get it off but it's easy to slide off if your trying to. I love the Velcro and that it's adjustable. I love that it's so much more comfortable and he can eat and drink. with a normal cone he couldn't get comfortable in his doggy bed so I'm hoping this will help with that too. ... show more

  • Exactly what I needed
Color: Donut Pink Size: L-(Neck 11"-14")
— IF YOUR DOG HAS BEEN SPAYED/NEUTERED, STOP LOOKING AT OTHER PRODUCTS AND PURCHASE THIS ONE. — I purchased this after going through a slew of other various products that are meant to keep your dog from licking their incision site of their spay/neutering. The standard ecollar is just too cumbersome, invasive, uncomfortable, and impractical. I then tried a sort of “wrap suit” which basically just looks like an outfit your dog wears and it covers the wound in an attempt to prevent them from getting at it - it doesn’t. I then had a different inflatable collar for one of my other dogs that I tried using, and though it was the correct size, it still allowed him to reach the incision site if he tried hard enough. Then I bought a discus-looking inflatable collar, which I figured would work the best and it’s arguably the worst. THIS ONE, however, when I sized up one size from what I would normally get my dog, prevented him from getting to his wound completely. Not only that, but my dog seemed very comfortable and happy in this! When you lack their collar through the inner molle, there is no risk of it accidentally slipping off (like the discus one I got), and you can adjust how tight you want it on them. This inflatable collar allows your dog to pretty much do their normal routine unencumbered and doesn’t get snagged or caught on things. My dog was able to eat/drink/play without issues. It also acts as a comfy pillow whenever they try to sleep. I read some reviews that talked about the liner zipper coming undone when it was blown up, but I never had that issue. The zipper held up completely fine, as did all other aspects of this collar. That is, until my dog decided to chew on the mouthpiece, which made it fall flat and rendered it completely useless. So pro tip: don’t leave the mouthpiece/valve facing forward so that they can get to it and chew it. I learned my lesson the hard way. As far as inflating it goes - it’s pretty straightforward and simple. Deflating it, though, was a bit of a challenge, as I had to roll one side up, all the way to the valve, while simultaneously trying to bite the valve to allow the air to flow out. It would be cool if there was an easier way to deflate it for storage. Or maybe there is and I’m just dumb lol. Either way, this is the only product you’ll need for your dog’s spay/neutering. I just suggest ordering one size up (they run true to size, but it’s just to ensure that there’s no way that persistent pups can get to their surgery site if they’re really committed to it). ... show more

  • Much more comfortable than the traditional cone
Color: Donut Blue Size: M(Neck 9"-12.5")
My dog accepted this inflatable collar from the first moment and, unlike the traditional plastic cone, it does not try to take it off. It is noticeable that it is much more comfortable and soft, he even uses it as a support for sleep, so he can rest better during his recovery. I liked that it is flexible and allows you to walk, eat and move much more easily than a rigid cone. I don't leave it on for many hours in a row, but when you need to avoid licking the affected area it fulfills its function very well. So far it has also proven to be resistant and keeps its shape well after use. Compared to traditional collars, this has been a much superior option both for the comfort for my dog and for the tranquility it gives me during his recovery. I would definitely buy it again. ... show more

  • Not safe while sleeping
Color: Donut Pink Size: M(Neck 9"-12.5")
After putting this donut on our dog prior to her surgery, we checked to make sure she couldn’t lick or reach areas we needed to remain safe. It worked perfectly. We also learned immediately that it must have her collar attached, or she could just shake it off. We showed it to the vet when picking her up post op, who said to not let her sleep with it. We failed to follow this direction and last night (day 4 post op) as she rested next to me on my bed, I could hear her labored breathing and I realized she was basically barely breathing and I was unable to get her to stand up as she remained flopped onto this donut. It took about ten minutes of holding her body in a standing position to get her acting normal again. It was definitely not associated with the anti inflammatory drug or the pain med she’s been on the past four days as they have not caused this level of sedation. We now only use the donut for taking her outside to pee/poop, and if she’s wandering around the kitchen where one of us is with her. Thank goodness this thing didn’t kill her! Still giving 4 stars since it’s so much better for calm activity than the cone, which is especially hard on her since she wants to sniff around before taking care of business, and the cone doesn’t allow for that. ... show more

  • Size medium, would recommend
Color: Donut Pink Size: M(Neck 9"-12.5")
We have a fox hound mix, 45lbs and a slender boy. Kept slipping out of my other dogs large donut from petsmart but this one works perfectly. Great fit, seems comfortable for him, easy to put on and take off, and if you dog is really against it can attach to the collar. It’s also adorable, had to do the classic strawberry sprinkle donut! ... show more

  • Excellent alternative to the dreaded cone of shame...
Color: Donut Pink Size: L(Neck 12"-16")
This donut fits well, it's cute, and it stays on when using the collar loops. My dog is able to eat and drink while wearing it. I think he can still reach his feet if he tried hard enough, but it's annoying enough to completely deter him. You do have to keep the velcro strap closure towards the back of his neck, though. The only time I saw him licking his feet was when I allowed the closure to turn to the front. However, we had no trouble keeping it in position when comfortably snug. After the initial 30 minutes or so of adjustment, my dog got around and existed without issue. I caught him snoozing on his built-in head pillow many times! I was impressed by how well it kept air; I didn't have to refill it at all during the week he wore it. I'm altogether very happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Cute, light, fun, washable, but not durable.
Color: Donut Pink Size: S(Neck 7"-9.5")
I’m a dog mom, a rescue volunteer, I’ve fostered, I’ve trapped-and-released strays, etc… I’ve used a lot of cones in my life, lol. My 4-pound chihuahua developed a skin thing early June where she started chewing herself until she was bleeding. I immediately made her a “cone” (similar to this donut) out of tube socks, but it was incredibly heavy for her tiny self to lug around. She looked miserable, so I came to Amazon and ordered this cone for same-day delivery. Per the measurements (def recommend taking a look at size chart and measuring your pet rather than just assuming), I ordered her a size S (she’s normally XS or XXS in things so I was a bit nervous to be choosing this size…) and it fit her perfectly. She used it without a collar at first, but learned that if she sleeps under the blankets with me she can pull her head out of it and be NAKEY!!, so we put a collar through the straps and it worked perfectly. It’s extremely light, so she can do her normal activities (everything except chewing herself..) with it on (she actually pranced around with it on for the first day 😂). She can play with it on, jump on the couch, and do her normal daily activities without crashing into walls or getting “stuck” like dogs do with the “cone of shame.” She can still eat, drink, and sleep with it on (it’s actually super cute that it holds her head up like a pillow 🥹). The cover gets dirty kinda easily with the eating and drinking and playing... I washed and dried it with my blankets and it came out just fine, good as new. The Velcro is strong (but not too strong) and it has yet to attract pet hair and lose its function. HOWEVER… ☹️ It’s now been a month that she’s been wearing it. I’m working with her vet on figuring her skin thing out, but in the meantime, she HAS to wear a cone or she chews herself raw again. Unfortunately, it has started losing air. There’s a tiny hole that’s barely visible if I hold it up to the light, but it’s somehow big enough that I’m needing to reinflate her cone like 6x/day, even if all she’s done is sleep. I’m not sure how the hole got there (she gets excited but she’s gentle). That’s the reason I’m only giving it 3 stars, I wish it had lasted longer than a month. I purchased a pool repair kit that comes with pvc glue and patches and I’m hoping that does the trick because I’m hoping to get more use out of it. I glued it today so we shall see… 🤞🏻 Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this product. 🩷 (If you look at my video, the black dog is a Chinese crested and she’s meant to be hairless, don’t worry!) ... show more

  • Genuine Good Investment! Repurposable, still using it months later
Color: Donut Pink Size: XL(Neck 14"-18")
Came to leave a review because its just so handy! If you're considering it, just get one, super easy to repurpose for different injuries through life and very comfy for your dog. We use it for nearly everything our girl (a lean 65 lb female golden retriever) needs a "cone of shame" for. Itchy hot spots, torn paw pads. The only thing is that she is flexible and can reach halfway up her back legs with it on still, to nibble with her teeth. So watch and supervise your dog if you need this for any leg/paw uses, it might not be as preventative as a traditional cone/Elizabethian collar. It's practical for getting around the house, it's comfortable for resting/sleep, even putting it on is a familiar process to her since its just like a chunky collar in her brain lol. The strap is a little thin, just a 1 inch long strip of velcro to keep it on, so if your dog's a fighter or crafty you'll probably have to use the inner loops to put it on a tight collar so they dont slip out of it. No issues personally with my dog doing that though. It's also durable material, washable cover, the toughest part is getting the little blow hole accessible and then back tucked away again, but luckily it doesn't need reinflating very often. Can last months (albeit it wasn't in use). It's also cute so when I share pictures of her people think "aw lol" and not "dang that dog looks depressed". The best part is that it's actually practical to live with it on 24/7 for weeks on end, so it speeds up the healing process and keeps us on track. Unlike taking a clunky collar off out of pity because they cant even drink water/not bump into walls/have full visibility. It's just a genuine realistic method and my dog and I are both happy ... show more
