Got this cone as an alternative to the giant cone from the vet after our rottweiler puppy (9 months and 9ilbs) got fixed. Ordered the 2xl and his neck is 22in. The size fit great and we had room to spare. Actually had to tighten it which created our problem. Because we tightened it, the excess material was accessible to chew. I had tried flipping the cone inside out so that the excess material would be on the outside, but could not get his collar through the loops so that the cone would stay on. Quite possible user error for that and I don't think he would have gotten to it if I had used the extra velcro to keep it down. Although he chewed the material, I'm still impressed with this cone's durability. He has run into trees, rocks, walls, you name it and it hasn't cracked. I would agree with a different review that mentioned the velcro housing bacteria. I wouldn't recommend this if your animal has a wound around their face or neck. But for short term use it has been great. He seemed much more comfortable in it than the one from the vet.

I needed a cone to keep my Shepherd from constantly chewing a hot spot on his skin. This cone definitely does the job. It's one piece, easy to place, and fits him comfortably. There are two velcro strips to adjust tightness. I prefer this one to the gargantuan 3 piece one from the vet. I can easily remove and replace it so he can eat and drink comfortably. For reference he is 100 lbs 21 inch neck, I bough the XXL and it fits him perfectly. Good product, would recommend.

Our pup had surgery and needed a cone, so we braced ourselves for the classic post-op sulk. Enter the Supet Dog Cone Collar—way more practical and comfy than the stiff, clear plastic lampshades from the vet. The adjustable fit was perfect for our medium-sized dog, and the material is way softer than expected. She could lie down, eat, and even give us a solid guilt-trip stare without struggling. Plus, it held up well despite some pawing and the occasional dramatic roll on the floor. Why 4 stars instead of 5? It did bend slightly after a few days of determined wall-scraping (she’s a fighter), so for super rowdy dogs, you might need to check the sturdiness over time. But overall, way more humane and manageable than the alternatives. Bottom line: it’s the cone she hates less, and as a pet parent, I call that a win.

Concept is lacking, the Velcro used to secure the cone, easily collects dog hair and other debris leaving the cone susceptible to bacteria growth . If your dog has and wound or infection the head area be weary of this as the Velcro part is difficult to keep clean as compared to the styles where u just clip the plastic in. Why are they making animal cone with Velcro???? Reduce the functionality of it IMO. My dog head moves freely but again for feeding and drinking one must remove the Velcro as all the gunk collects in the cloth . The build quality of the plastic part is strong

I have a 9 month old 100 pound American Bulldog/Rottweiler who had bilateral eye surgery & this cone made a world of difference. We tried 3 other cones prior to this one & would recommend this option again & again. Our dog was very comfortable, was able to still eat & drink with the cone on, & most importantly was not able to paw at his eyes. I appreciated the adjustable fit & extra pieces of velcro to secure the inside flap. Our dog has a 22 inch wide neck & this was a perfect fit. I do recommend buying a standard collar to weave through the loops of the cone for additional support!

I have a staffordshire terrier. Think pit bull, slightly bigger. He has a foot licking problem. He destroys beds, cones, toys, you name it. But not this cone. This cone has held up for Spartacus shockingly well. There are loops that you can slide the collar through to hold it more firmly around their neck. The Velcro is strong. The plastic can get banged around quite a bit, and still hold its form. This is a long term cone and if you have a powerful dog, this is the one for you. Five stars.

I bought this to keep my dog from licking his injured paw. However, he was still able to get to his paw. My husband was going to table some plastic and add to it, to make it a little taller. It stays on well and easy to put on/ take off.
