Assembly was a breeze. Shouldn't take you more than a minute or two to put these together. However, although it seems sturdy at first, once you're sitting on it things get wobbly and require a balance act to maintain comfort. I am not a small guy, 215 lbs. But the advertised weight limit puts me well into a range where this should not have been a problem. Bough 4 of these, returning all of them for something more sturdy.

love these things, we bought them for our new island bar and since they can height adjust we also use them for the dining room table when we have the leaves in. typically they're used as the island seats which we sometimes use for dinner and sometimes just for seating.. they've also been used as extra chairs for the dining room table when we extend the table for parties, works great instead of having to buy 2 extra chairs for the table and rarely use them then figure out where to store them. they move around on my brazilian cherry hardwood without any scratches at all and feel sturdy when sitting considering i'm 250lbs.

These were very easy to assemble and look great, but not the sturdiest chairs. I would recommend for people less than 200 lbs to sit on these comfortably and without worrying about breaking them.

We highly recommend these bar stools. They are easy to put together, sturdy, and solid. They are smoothly adjustable up and down. They are super comfortable. We are tall and have bad backs, and we bought these because they had good back support and we are able to adjust them to a very tall height when needed. We don't have pain when we get up after sitting in them for a while. We are also very pleased with how attractive they are! [As a side note, we also like the microfiber fabric because our cats do not like it! They stay off these chairs, but as they "warm up" to them we may have trouble in that area and are already thinking of chair covers! ;-) ]

I am writing this review because past reviews 100% helped me decide on buying these. I am very happy with these chairs for the kitchen island. They are a perfect match to my kitchen's color scheme. I am not the most handy person (okay, not handy at all) but surprisingly I was able to easily assemble both chairs myself in about 15 minutes (yay me). My only issue is that I highly doubt these chairs can hold 265 lbs as advertised. Not that anyone in my household is 265 lbs but still...Additionally, I am not encouraging my family to swivel on these as a regular practice for fear that they may not withstand too much activity. Bottom line - they look good and for the amount of time we do sit at the island, they will be perfect. Overall a good purchase for the price point.

Exactly as all pics indicated. Took 15 minutes to unbox and assemble. Packaged very well. Looks very high end. Fabric has a rawhide/suede look that adds to the quality. The wrought iron base is heavy and sturdy. Height can be adjusted for counter height or bar/pub height. Love them. Definitely recommend these barstools to anyone interested.

I got these to go with my new bar that I am building. They definitely look modern and very cool. They are also pretty dang comfy. The only concern I have is the sturdiness when people are getting in and out of them. They can wobble at times. Other than that, i love them.
