This solar light is excellent. I actually mounted mine on a tree lol near my walkway to my front door. I used anchors, and made it work. I bought this for the dusk-to-dawn setting to mount on my house and light a dark, hidden corner of my backyard and the high-traffic public path that runs alongside that area - just for safety. Installation was easy and it charged up fast. Unfortunately, the light wasn’t strong enough at the dusk-to-dawn setting (which the guide says means the light only illuminates at 3% since it has to stay on continuously at this setting). I would have needed to illuminate a small area immediately in front of the light for the dusk-to-dawn to be effective with this. I had to change it to motion-activated, which allows the light to be powered on higher since it’s not on all the time. That wasn’t what I wanted, but it works to at least illuminate the corner of my yard I was worried about. It detects motion well; even the cat walking by below it triggers it! Still giving it 4 stars because it’s good at what it does; it just wasn’t the right fit for what I initially wanted. I haven’t stayed up all night to make sure it lasts until it can charge again, but if I do, I’ll update this! ... show more

Great lights. I mounted the solar panels on a 12" x 12" piece of plywood and set them on my roof. The lights stay on all night in medium power and they will last for several cloudy days before the power drops enough for the lights to fade. Great back yard lighting, not too bright, good flood coverage. It would have been nice to have a remote control for the modes, but not a big deal. ... show more

So many times you see a commercial, a video or a commentary about a product you wanna buy, and it sounds like it’s really easy to get it all together and up and running. And then you buy the product and find out it’s a nightmare to set up. Nothing goes Like it’s supposed to go. That was not the case with these lights. Very easy set up. And they are working at night whenever I have to run around out there. I don’t have to take an extra light with me anymore. I still do but only out of force of habit. The one thing I’m not exactly happy about,( therefore, I only gave it four stars), is the light is a little dimmer than I had hoped it would be.. Still, not a dealbreaker.
