This winch(2500lb) is mounted on top of my bumper for my plow. The stock winch location is low on the machine and I did not want to do the whole pulley and strap setup. I did not want to wear out my primary winch and cable lifting a light weight plow. With this winch mounted up on the bumper the pull angle is perfect. Super ATV can am defender front bumper. Also mounting it on top of the bumper the winch allows a higher lift long before anything binds up. I plow a 500' driveway plus around the house and barns. The faster plow raising and only having a single part setup is nice. My old setup on my previous sxs was double pull line and was slower by far. Only cons I have is the solenoid is big and although the unit come with a wireless remote a wired remote would be a plus. ... show more

Went together without a problem. Wench mounting bolt provided in the kit were to short. Used zip ties to secure the control box just because it was hard to get the bolts in though the frame.
