I like the winch, installation was a little more challenging than I anticipated. On the KRX you have to remove the 4 bolts holding the front differential in place and slide it back as far as it will go and there's one ear on the diff that actually sticks into the winch rope. I'll have to spool a bunch of rope out and reel it back in under load so I don't run the risk of rubbing on the diff case.

I had two big issues with the installation of this winch kit for the KRX. The fairlead mounting plate was almost impossible to put on because the mounting holes were filled with metal shavings and the bolts were crushed on the tips. I cleaned the metal shavings out as best as I could but the only way those bolts were going in was with a impact wrench, which melted two of the bolts and you can see in the picture that one of the bolts would not go in all the way. The other big issue was the massive solenoid was straight up impossible to finish mounting. The bottom fastening point was the only one I managed to bolt down, but it was impossible to both down the top of the solenoid because the mounting hole lined up with the negative terminal hookup. I tightened the bottom one as good as I could and the top one just had the bolt through it to keep it from rotating. And another complain is why did this kit not come with a rocker switch? This is a kit for a side by side but it came with a handlebar switch for an ATV. It works so at the end of the day I'm glad I have it but there's a lot of issues that need to be worked out.
