The media could not be loaded. It provides a range of bright to dim. Base is very heavy. The shade is a high quality thick plastic. I love that. No tipping at all. The lamp is bright even with one bulb broken off the bunch. That broken bulb was disappointing to see. Since I waited for about two weeks before receiving the lamp, I'm not sending it back; it's too much of a hassle and I need to use it right away -even in its broken condition. I will eventually just bite the bullet and buy the replacement bulbs myself. Superlamp will have to take a ratings hit because of that...Updated review: Today is July 30, 2024. Within the past week, my lamp stopped working. I attempted to replace the bulbs with new ones - nothing. I tried different outlets - still nothing. So...I don't know what the problem is. All I know is that I need to shop for a new lamp now.... ... show more

This super lamp is incredible. It is really easy to assemble and it’s super bright as well which is really good. The lighting from the lamp makes the room much brighter and overall the lamp is amazing. Unfortunately the lamp broke a few months later but customer service was incredible and were able to help replace it super easily. Definitely recommend this lamp. Truly one of the best! ... show more

This lamp is great! Lightweight and easy to assemble, EXCEPT in the instructions it doesn't meantion that you will have to tuck in the extra wire at the top between the head of the lamp to the last bar going up. I had to spiral it down into the bar because that extra amount will not pull down from the bottom because it is attached to the dimmer on/off switch. Other than that frustrating discovery, this lamp is great! Any bulbs will work, up to 100W and it is easy to move around and dim. I'm so grateful I finally found a lamp that is worth the money and easy to assemble and it doens't require special light bulbs. Yay! ... show more
