This inverter is a complete fire hazard and a total waste of money. I gave this product a shot despite mixed reviews, and it nearly caused serious damage. Out of the box, I installed everything correctly — battery, fuse, wiring — and the moment I reconnected power, even with the inverter in the OFF position, the screen lit up and started acting like it was running. Within seconds, it began smoking. Keep in mind there was no added load at this point. I shut everything down and spent hours troubleshooting — removed the inverter, disassembled it (which I knew would probably void the warranty - I didn't care at that point), tested the fuse (which was still good), and carefully examined every wire. Nothing was visibly burnt, no damage to terminals, no melted casing… until I spotted heat damage near one of the cooling fan wires. Still, that alone shouldn’t have caused a full system failure. After reassembly and another test run, I got more smoke — this time coming from the outlet side of the inverter — followed by loud popping sounds across the board. Game over. That unit went straight in the trash. This was nothing but mass-produced garbage. DO NOT try to save money, simply by wasting money. UPDATE: purchased a name brand inverter and haven’t had any problems.

Works good, scoped the sine wave and it ts clean. The battery clamp wires were not crimped tight. Crimped them tighter and had no more voltage drop.

Puts out the power well, but I'm not so sure about its claim to be "pure sine wave" capable. One of my power cubes for my phone acts very funny when plugged in. Other than that it's lightweight, mounts easily, and shipped relatively quickly. Unfortunately while it comes with a bunch of spare fuses, replacing them means removing the entire casing. Bit of a hassle if ever needed, and you can't SEE the fuse without removing the case. Truckers should know there's no low voltage cut off function so beware. If you're running a fridge, you'll need to power off the unit if you're away from the truck a few days. If your batteries are already weak, this unit could kill them overniggt. If your inverter is hooked on a direct line to your batteries, you'll want an inline fuse as well. Truckpro usually carries them. You might also want to go build your own cabling using no smaller than 4-6 gauge wire. The cables provided aren't ideal and may be causing the issues with my phone charger cube Overall it's a hell of a buy at the price I paid. Just have to remember to power it down and empty the fridge when I go home for weekends
