I love the lights. They are a perfect brightness, look great and the shatterproof glass is a bonus. However, my lights wont automatically turn on at dusk... still not a deal breaker. What finally led me to the one star review is the customer service. Or complete lack of customer service. I have called numerous times either getting a busy signal or a voicemail, never a person. Left voicemails, emails and even texted... never to receive a response. This is the deal breaker for me. Its always disappointing when companies dont stand by there products and once they have your money...your on your own. UPDATE: Sunthin finally reached out to me. It seems that they were having staff issues. They were very nice and apologetic for the delay. They immediately sent me out a new panel and now the lights are working properly. ... show more

I love that there is a USB-C port to charge indoors after multiple cloudy days otherwise even on partly cloudy days, it gets a full charge and remains for weeks/months. I reached out for support and they ended up sending us a new strand of lights. Their customer service was above expectations. The lights worked for 4 nights in a row without issue during a camping expedition. They provide a nice ambiance light around the pop-ups we used. They are not so bright that you can see everything in the space and on the ground (like a flashlight) but honestly that's probably a good thing, since they do provide a very nice atmosphere for socializing without bright glare. ... show more

First, plan on losing an hour of your life untangling the 100 ft nest of wire that comes in the box. Maybe they sent me a customer return and another customer wrapped them this way. If this came from the factory like this, a little more coaching might be needed for their fulfillment crew. Set up: easy. I mean they’re solar string lights. How hard can that be? So far, living in one of the sunniest parts of the world, the lights last from about 7:30 to about 3:30am. Have not experienced the 15 hours as advertised. I’m sure they will say to unplug it and charge the panel via UBS in your house. Um…no….solar is solar. Why would I do any of that? If I wanted lights run on electricity I would have bought lights requiring electricity right? Besides, if you’re like our house, 5 IPhones, 5 tablets, 4 IPhone watches etc to manage charging for…pretty sure we are not going to add remembering to charge our SOLAR lights to the pile. Durability: I have my doubts. Day 2 and already had (2) bulbs out. I tapped on them and they turned back on. I strung 100 ft of lights so I’m in no hurry to take them down and return but I probably will. This is our 5th or 6th go around with solar lights on Amazon over the past couple years and the success rate hasn’t been great. Our backyard was wired for electricity; I think we’re going to go that route and get some reliability. It’s silly to even have to think about why your backyard lights aren’t working.
