It detects very well and comes with tools such as a shovel to help your journey. A kid could assemble this detector. You can adjust for height of different people. Very good beginne

Only thing I had to purchase separate was the pinpoint detector. Which I found on Amazon for a great price. Also has a carrying case. I love this device but most importantly my lady loves it. Item arrived on time and everything works great. I’d highly recommend people jump on this deal. I paid just over $100 for a $200 item. Jump on this if it’s still on sale. Also forgot to add the strap for your arm. It lessons the strain on your arm while using. We can’t wait until spring. Thank you Amazon for offering such a great deal in these hard times. I wish my video I took of her opening this gift was smaller so you could see the look on her face when she opened it.

This was easy to put together and test it, I followed the instructions of the set up to cancel out copper, tin and iron. Then I tested it with actual AU Gold it was fair and OK detection. I will know more when I take it out to the field in an actual Gold bearing area.
