I'm about 5'9" and I have a hard time reaching the bars that move during the stride; I'm either having to reach far or do one at a time while positioning myself strangely. When I adjust the feet pedals higher up (not recommended, against assembly instructions) they're a bit too close and it makes it squeak to no end. Also, I highly doubt the metrics are accurate because when I'm going slowly it's saying I'm working around 7-10 mph, which is definitely not right; so I don't use it for accuracy, but just to get the resistance and movement I need, even if I need to hold the bicycle bars to stay in a comfortable balanced position.

This is a horrible piece of equipment. The monitor does not turn on unless you plug it into the wall and the unit multiple times, in different order. Sometimes it does not stay on if I am lucky to get it to turn on at all. Sunny tech support it literally a joke. After havng to provide a video of the unit plugged in and the monitor dark, they begrudging sent me a new adapter and connecting wire. I had to take the elliptical apart to change this wire (they failed to mention this). It still did not work. Also, they sent the parts USPS which took a long time to arrive. Sunny then sent me the following instructions: - We thought the problem was the inflow of power at the back end as you could get the Meter to flash on. I think it will be worth trying the bypass at this point to make sure the rainbow wiring is not our problem. Also wiggle all the wiring around the motor to make sure everything is firmly connected. - We need to take the Computer down to the Lower Rainbow Wire and connect it directly then see if we can get good power flow. While doing this inspect the rainbow wiring for damage or bent prongs between the connections. What does this mean??? This unit is heavy, cumbersome and not easy to take apart myself.

Ok, here goes for any of you out there who are hesitant because you have to assemble this device. I’ve gotten as far as installing the handlebars and the little computer, basically 90% done, and it seemed a good time to write an assembly review! The instructions are pretty clear, the diagrams are precise tho very small. The parts on the diagrams and on a separate list of parts are all numbered, but the parts themselves are NOT. Only left snd right are labeled. This surprised me since everything else is very well thought-out. The most difficult part for me was installing the 2 pedals. The pedal support rods at that stage are very low to the floor, the bolts go in at the bottom and don’t “catch” easily, so a lot of back-aching bending over and cussing. Also you will definitely need a second Allen wrench to counter-tighten several bolts. The one they provide has a Phillips head on the long end and it’s difficult to get good torque with a short Allen wrench. If anyone from Sunny is reading this, I recommend the parts all have numbers corresponding to the diagrams, the drawings on the diagrams should be either darker or bigger, they’re hard to see. Finally, considering the very high-quality parts and hardware, why not include a good Allen wrench AND a separate Phillips screw driver!! When I’ve used this machine a bit I’ll write a follow-up review. I gave the assembly 5 stars despite a few small minuses, especially since I purchased it 50% off and it’s a real honker of a machine!!

I wanted to wait for the test of time to write a review and this one is worth it! I bought this elliptical in November 2020 and it has been a lifesaver during the pandemic and beyond. It came really quickly when other workout equipment were backlogged. I've used it 2 to 4 times a week for about 45-60 minutes each time for the last 2 years and it's still going as strong as day one. Very smooth and quiet operation. It's a comfortable stride (I'm 5'4") and the heart rate monitor is pretty accurate based on the smart watch I also use. Love the many different programs for working out to mix things up. I also set my own pace and resistance level when the mood strikes. I like it as much as the cardio equipment that were in my membership gym (though for about 1/8 the price, and of course not as heavy/sturdy feeling but that's to be expected). Assembly took more like 2 hours rather than one, but well worth it for the hundreds of hours of use. Does a great job of getting my heart rate up and giving me a sweaty workout. I'm in my 40s and after more than 2 years, am amazingly still injury-free from the repetitive motion. Just pop in my headphones and zone out for a while each week. Definitely 5 stars. Update Dec. 2023: okay, I now hear the loud clicking noise that other reviews talk about. It's very, very loud. I've tightened all screws and even took some things apart and retightened. No success. The noise is constant and could wake the dead. Seems to otherwise work fine but I have to retire this thing or risk suffer hearing loss. But I figured I've used it over 300 hours over the 3 years I've had it, so that comes out to less than $2/hour of use. Not bad, so I'll leave the 5 stars.
