I needed a small fan for a place at the top of the stairs going to a loft room. hot air seems to collect at the the area at and around the top of the stairs and I thought a small fan would keep the air circulating and mitigate that condition. I wanted a 24 in fan but settled for this 22 in since I could not find a 24 in model. The ceiling/attachment plate with four cushioned tabs did not fit nicely over the ceiling box. I had to add some cushioned levelers to get it all flat over the box. The wiring is a little different eliminating wire nuts but it worked. The light is bright and is dimmable. The remote works well. The fan does provide ample air movement even set at the middle speed. ... show more

So, I bought this fan because my office room does not have good air circulation, and I have a foot fan that is loud during meetings. The installation of the new fan was easy, until by mistake, I dropped the whole fan and busted the light cover. I was frustrated and mad, wanted just to get another one, and I did not wanted to deal with the vendor CS. This is when a good customer service step in and saved the day!!!. I Contacted Sunmory-US via email anyway, and Kylin was great. I told her the true and asked her if she can send me another cover. Kylin was polite and responsive and without hesitation told me that will send me another cover at not charge. The delivery was quick and in 2 days I had the new cover on the fan. I am really happy with my purchase. The fan is quite, and does not gets annoying like my previous foot fan (specially during meetings) Also, the convenience of the remote control helps me regulate the air circulation and the different temperature for the led lights, adjust for daylight or nighttime. I like the bright led light that is dimmable and can change daylight, cool, warm colors. Fan puts out a good breaze and is reversible for winter use. I don't like that if you turn off light switch and turn back on too soon it beeps and factory defaults settings.

This is a cute little fan. It blows OK. The design flaw is hard to describe, but here goes: the ceiling bracket is not wide enough to allow the cone to rotate onto the holding screws. Other reviewers said this too, but I couldn't understand what they meant till I was trying to mount it myself. Two workarounds: 1. place some sort of wedge between the ceiling bracket and the ceiling, or 2. cut the metal on the cone to make room for the holding screw when rotating the cone to attach it. I know, hard to understand. I did the latter with a metal cutter, and only needed to shave off about an eighth of an inch to make the rotation of the cone onto the holding screws work. They need to fix this. *****update 6/19/24: the company offered me a total refund for my troubles and said it's not a design flaw but rather just something to adjust to. Kudos to them for their generosity. I didn't accept the refund. ... show more
