Due to the weather, I couldn't pick up my order from BBL, and I ran out of ABS, so I tried this one. It is the same price as BBL when you get 10 spools. What, in a way, is less expensive, and I got it the next day... I cheat and use the Bambu Lab RFID from an MT spool of white ABS. I was shocked to see it printing at a good speed and with the finish quality of my favorite material. Not only does it have excellent printing quality, but it also bridges better and has no problem with a 30-degree overhang. The good: I like the spool; it is solid and comparable to the Bambu Lab. It can be used with refeelable spool. And the color is attractive; it is a deep blue. The ABS print perfectely, it is a bit whiter and may have a hint of bluish when you put it side by side with the BBL. The colors are very close. It's spooling nicely and orderly. It prints right out of the bag, in an AMS Pro2 with no humidity issues. The bad: I don't have anything to say. It kills me to see that I have better results than my favorite material. I ordered 8 more spools and will see if something comes up. Yes, I highly recommend it, and if it all goes well, I'll switch to Sunlu ABS... Excellent price for very standard ABS filament. Never clogged or tangled on me. Nice deep shade of black. Been running spools of these through a Flashforge AD5M Pro. No issues thus far. Using print parameters as nozzle 260C and bed at 95C, and I run speedy--we're going 300mm/s on my quality profile. Extremely good adhesion to a textured PEI bed. Warpage can occur but you need to let the print cool on the hot bed before removal to mitigate this more. Overall very easy to print and workable.

Good filament, prints nice, quality is good, performance is the same as any other ABS i have used, color is really nice and solid, overall a very good filament for the price! The white is not a bright white, its more of a natural color, but still looks really nice for most uses.

EDIT: After using Hatchbox ABS filament, while the spooling is still much better in my opinion, the quality of this filament BLOWS HATCHBOX OUT OF THE WATER!!! They're filament does not acetone smooth properly. There are too many imperfections in their filament. This Sunlu filament is light years better in quality. I managed to get rid of the annoying spool bursts (filament flying off the spool) by 3d printing a wall mount for the spool and mounting the spool much farther from my printer. The added slack in feeding the filament prevents it from flying off the spool anymore. Make the rims of the spool slightly taller and I'd give this brand a 5/5 The quality of the filament is decent. I feel like Hatchbox has less stringing but for the price it looks good after prints and acetone smoothing looks great. The spool it is wound on is absolutely awful tho. They clearly are cutting every corner possible because they wind the filament up to the very edge of the top of the spool. You may be inclined to think on your first impression "Oh hey! I'm getting my money's worth!" but no. On your first few prints, the second your print head moves far from the spool and then returns to continue a print, about 3 yards of the filament will come bursting off of the spool and coil around whatever is near it in an unfixable knot. You will then have to cut your filament. pause the print, unwind the tangled filament and respool it. Restart the print, leave the room for 5 mins, hear the spool explode with filament again, and repeat for hours. Id highly suggest looking elsewhere unless other sources are sold out and you dont mind dealing with a massive headache while you print.

I recently started working more with ABS, and SUNLU’s Black ABS Filament has quickly become a standout choice for my projects. Right off the bat, the finish on this filament is impressive—sleek, crisp, and super clean-looking. Whether I’m printing functional parts or just experimenting with designs, the deep black gives everything a really polished, pro-level appearance. ABS can be a bit tricky to work with compared to PLA, but SUNLU’s version made the whole process surprisingly smooth. It extrudes evenly, holds dimensional accuracy really well, and once you get your temps dialed in, the prints come out solid with excellent layer adhesion. I ran it at around 230–250°C for the nozzle and about 90–100°C on the heated bed (with an enclosure to help control warping), and the results have been consistently great. Durability-wise, this stuff is tough. That’s one of the main reasons I reach for ABS in the first place, and SUNLU’s formula definitely delivers. It feels sturdy and reliable—perfect for parts that need to take a bit of abuse or heat. If you’re comfortable working with ABS or looking to get into it, I highly recommend giving this one a shot. With the right setup, it performs beautifully and adds a clean, pro look to any print. SUNLU’s Black ABS has definitely earned its place in my filament lineup.

the filament is nice when it actually prints, but I had a roll tangle on the first print out of the box. I have been 3d printing for a long time and have not seen a factory tangle in many years. Customer service was terrible, telling me that they needed a picture of the filament tangled IN THE PRINTER to move forward. They eventually relented and gave me a refund, but it was not worth the effort. I had about 6 more spool of this stuff and all of the spooling was messy, and 2 of them had visible kinks (where the filament turned white from being bent too far at some point in the manufacturing process). Nice filament and a good price, but with customer service this bad, and a clear spooling issue, I would stay away until they acknowledge and fix the issue at minimum, or get better customer service.
