I requested this battery as I needed a new battery for my sons Power Wheels truck which is a 12V model. I did have to do some modifying to make it fit as it is much larger than a normal SLA battery but the weight savings and higher number of charge cycles was a selling factor for me as well as the fact it is Lithium. The only disadvantage is that we keeps our kids trucks on the front porch of our pool house in our backyard and I leave a Deltran Battery Tender Jr on them year round and this does not have cold protection so I find myself bring the battery in during the winter months. The plus is that my BTJ charger is capable for LiOn batteries as well as LSA so I did not need to replace the charger for this! The manual is really nice has a lot of useful information that you don't normally see from foreign manufacturers and boasts a nice warranty. I cannot speak on the warranty because I have only had this battery for a short time but it is eather going to be a long lasting battery with a warranty just in case or one of those warranties that gets old after having to replace multiple times... Time will tell on that.

Biggest highlight!! Something I have never seen before.... a BEAUTIFULLY made and VERY informative manual FROM CHINA!!!!!!! I have been looking into these type of batteries a lot and even company websites for much MUCH bigger brands didn't even have this much helpful information. I kid you not, I saw it, read it, and TOTALLY believed this was from an American company. Despite coming to me looking like it was slightly used, and a VERY low state of charge, I WILL be keeping this manual for a very long time. OHHHH!!! Guys......Seriously. FIVE YEAR WARRANTY!!! look at the photo closeup of the manual. WOW. Either this product is so good you will not need to replace in that much time or for five years they will have your back. Okay lastly. Here is the gyst of lithium. for ANY 12v lithium battery it will need multiple cells inside. When connected in series(to increase overall voltage) they must have the same amp hours each. That means each cell in this battery is 12 amp hours. When deciding if you want to make your own, think about finding a 3.2v cell of 12 amp hours and then buying at least 4 of them AND THEN hooking them up to a BMS to make a proper 12v battery. All in a nice little enclosure.

Highlights: - I measured 12.43AH capacity with a 4A load - Cells seem balanced as BMS cut out during charge at 14.5V - Battery was able to supply 12A and 24A of current for many minutes (BMS did not cut out) - BMS did disconnect battery when dead shorted Low lights: - Battery arrived nearly dead. Measured 12.64V as received and took 11.94AH to recharge In my testing the battery delivered over the advertised AH rating at 103.6% under a 4A load (see photo). When testing the BMS during charging, I was happy to see it cut out the battery at 14.5V, which suggests the cells inside are decently balanced. Discharge testing performance was good. I set my DC load to 12A and held it there for 5 mins with no issue. I then cranked up the load to 24A and was able to maintain that for ~ 2 mins before I turned it off. Finally, I set my load to max (over 200A) and turned it on. Immediately the BMS disconnected the battery. I attempted to reset the BMS by applying a charge, and though the battery would take a charge, it did not reset for many minutes. So if you do trip the BMS overcurrent protection, you might have to wait minutes before it resets, even if you put a decent charge on the battery (I was charging at 5A rate and it wasn't working until I let the battery rest for about 5 mins. Overall I am happy with the battery's performance. It delivers the AH rating, the BMS works. Deducting 1 star because it arrived nearly dead. It took 11.94AH to fully charge it when I got it. It should not have been that low .

This 12Ah battery is nearly exactly the same size as my 9Ah LiFePO4 battery. It will provide a nice upgrade to the portable battery bank I've built. It came with a low charge similar to what others have said. Not too big of a deal, I had time to charge it. The manual has to be one of the best LiFePO4 battery manuals I have ever seen. So much information on it that is applicable to both this battery and LiFePO4 batteries in general.

It arrived undamaged in a box with ample padding. It came with a small, but helpful manual. I had no issues when it was charging or discharging. I charged it with a small 1.5 amp charger. I tested it at about a half C rate (5 amps) and it pulled a little over the rated capacity (12.3 ah)

As far as LiFePO4 batteries go, this one does everything you'd expect. During a capacity test, pulling approximately 4A, I was able to draw at least 12.2Ah. My little 400W inverter keeps tripping the over-current protection on the battery whenever I connect it, so it's clear that OCP works. While one might expect it to handle the brief surge to charge the capacitors, it's worth noting that I am using an inverter that can draw approximately three times what the battery is rated for, so that may be a factor. It's unclear whether this battery has any sort of passive or active balancing to keep the cell voltages from deviating, so only time and charge cycles will tell us. It doesn't have low-temperature protection, which is the only thing I'd want that it doesn't offer, but I knew that when I ordered it.
