I needed a little rug for under my toddler's new low loft bed, and wanted something that was small enough to fit directly under it and not extend over into her larger area rug. I happened to come across this by accident, and let me say it is perfect!! Because it's oval in shape, it fit to a T under her twin size loft bed like it was made for it! As other reviewers stated, it comes in a small shrink wrapped bag that was see through, but tightly closed. Once I cut it open, I removed the rug, and was pleasantly surprised by the feel of the smooth, soft shaggy material on top. The bottom of the rug features a cream color that reminds me of the bottom of kid gripper socks. It has a pattern of rubberized nubs on bottom, but there so light rubber that the rug can move up when my kids play on it, but not horribly. The top is slick! If I had used this for a rug in the bathroom or by my bed, I can easily see myself accidentally sliding across the top of this. Maybe it's me? Other than that, the material IS smooth, soft, and so comfortable! I consider this rug a rug pad versus a true rug. Main reason is the backing. It's soft material, and you can fold the whole rug into a little ball. The padding in it is also very thin. It's fine for my three year old, and better than the hard floor, but the padding is super thin. I still gave this five stars because I went into this already knowing the rug wasn't a traditional rolled rug so I wasn't under any misconceptions about it. I find it to be soft, smooth, it looks adorable, and the quality is amazing! My daughter loves this rug, and I totally recommend it!

I bought two of these for either side of my bed, they are, larger than I expected but so worth it! They are squishy, fluffy, and soft. My cats love them too, and when they look a little sad or flat I just take them outside to shake them out and they are fluffy again. As somebody with health issues and tactile things can irritate me, I love soft and fluffy things, I now want some area rugs for my other "guest" room, and my office because of how soft these are.

Super soft and warm on cold mornings. I keep my house pretty cool and it's nice to step on a soft, warm rug in the morning. This is a nice little rug for the bedroom or a playroom. Probably not good for high traffic. But for the price it's nice quality and seems to be well mad. I'd buy again.
