Description

The Sunex Rapid Rise Technology reaches max height of 19.3 inches in 7.5 pumps. Side mounted handles for easy jack positioning. Wide track wheels for easy maneuverability. Rubber saddle pad and foam bumper pad protect vehicle. Thick frame side plates and reinforced lift arm for added strength, chassis torsion control and durability. Wiper seals protect hydraulic system from contaminants. Overload and bypass safety valves prevent the jack from being used beyond its rated capacity and ram over extension. Ball bearing mounted rear swivel coaster wheels and wide track front wheels for easy maneuverability. Two piece handle for storage; quick lock feature for engagement and disengagement of handle halves.

I have been a mechanic for longer than I want to admit. I've always had the big heavy floor jacks. Before I bought this I had to use one of those big heavy jacks and it was 97 degrees out. Lifting it in and out of my truck is harder now than it was when I was young. I decided it was time to try a lighter weight model. I bought the 3 ton Sunex aluminum jack and the first thing you notice is how light it is. Pulling it behind me is like walking with a dog instead of pulling a trailer. The other thing is once there is a load on the jack, it doesn't get harder to pump. It keeps lifting with the same force from me. The handles on the side make it so easy to position under the vehicle. It is important to read the directions before just jamming the handle in and going out to jack up a truck. Things can happen during shipping and you need to get rid of any air that may have gotten in the system. Do the rotating and pumping and you won't be one of the reviewers that complained because it didn't work right... ... show more

I purchased the 3ton aluminum model. It's lightweight and works great! Just jacked up the right front of our 1975 Cadillac Eldorado with an 8.2L 500CID V8 engine (heavy car) without a problem. Jacking it up was pretty much effortless. I'm an automotive mechanic and I definitely recommend it.

Retired my old HF 3-ton, long reach, low profile jack with this and couldn’t be happier. The old one was a work horse, but weighed far too much to pull in and out of a cabinet when I needed it and was too bulky to leave out. This solved all of those problems and works great. Would also work great as a mobile jack for someone who races on weekends - it’s a nice, small footprint and can easily be carried and moved around with one hand. ... show more

Nice jack, I have also used the similar spec harbor freight jacks and this feels much more durable. Not too heavy if you need to lift it. Everything feels solid and works as it should. The rubber pad is really nice to have, also.

Used it to lift up my LS460 to ceramic coat my wheels. The only issue I had was in the back the handles didn't give the floor stands enough room so I had to remove both side handles from the floor jack but that's not the fault of the jack by any means. Great jack overall. Would definitely recommend.

Saw a lot of reviews on 3 ton floor jacks - bottom line is you get what you pay for. Sunex makes good quality tools. The jack cost a little more (in the noise actually) but its backed by a standard warranty, a solid support network and a company with a good reputation for quality and customer service. No issues for operation - just follow the setup instructions that come with it and you're all set.
