I must say that these have been quite a pleasant surprise. I used them to replace the stock speakers in my 2008 Acura RL. The intent was to replace the speakers but to keep the stock head unit and amplifier. I must say that I believe the stock bose system clips the lower end away from the speakers so I do not get really good bass response from these. However with that disclosed... the sound that comes from these speakers is smooth and quite enjoyable. I usually prefer to listen to R&b and rap music, this music is only "ok" with these speakers due to my set up. However I find myself listening to more various styles of music now that are very enjoyable with wind and string instruments that really shine on this set. I placed a pair in both front and rear doors and added focal tweets in the pillars in the front door. I have been listening to them for a few weeks now, and can say quite honestly that I do enjoy them very much for the price point they are sold. I hope this helps someone. Enjoy. ... show more

What can I say. Focal is truly the best speakers I've ever had. I have the K2 power separates in the front doors that are so amazing and will take a beating and never miss a beat. I got these for the back doors in my 19 silverado and although not the K2's they definitely are Focal quality. Glad I got them and now my system is complete and couldn't sound better. Well till I get the Focal subs that is. If you want the best, Focal is it. ... show more

Don’t know what the rave is about for focal speakers. First time I’ve thrown down 300 on pair of 6.5’s I was expecting to be impressed, Feel like could have bought speaker at half cost with comparable sound, hopefully will hold up better.

I enjoy throwing away money, so when I saw these speakers I didn't hesitate. I'll tell you, I was replacing what were the Amazon recommend 6.5 speakers (jbl) and well...couldn't be happier. These things are hands down the coaxil kings, the sound quality is amazing and I have to say worth the hefty price tag. ... show more
