Excellent heaters. Infrared, so only feels warm when light hits you but does very well within 3ft. Beyond that, you can feel it but it isn't an intense warm feeling (more like sunshine on a cold day). I bought two for a 3-4 person couch and they really heat well. Might even buy another one!

The unit looked promising but there is no fan to push heat outward. Will not heat an enclosed patio as expected or will it heat an entire 1 car garage. I installed 1 unit and at highest level. Output was not enough to keep it warm at all. Will not recommend this for outdoor or garage to anyone.

I installed it in my open 9' x 22' back porch about 8' from the floor. Works as intended/described, but the heat output is barely enough to increase the room temperature (which was 55 degrees) about 4 degrees F. Easy to install and the remote control works fine.
