    • Very Difficult to Assemble

When this small box was delivered to my doorstep I was apprehensive to say the least. I was expecting a patio set that was fully assembled and delivered to my door. OMgoodness.....this came in a thousand pieces (seemed like a thousand pieces by day # 2 of assembly)....however I managed to get this all together ( finally) and discovered you really need to leave all the screws loose until everything is together THEN and only THEN should you go back and tighten everything. Now that it has been completely assembled and all screws tightened....it is a very SMALL bistro set, and will not seat anyone who is a bit wide in the saddle....SERIOUSLY.....but I think it is very solid and fits perfectly on my small 6X8 patio. I would not even consider sending this back for a refund.....after spending all the time ( 3 days total) putting this together.....I am going to make this work. Next time I go to Lowes or Home Depot, I will have a deep rooted respect for that little group of employees who have to assemble this stuff before setting it out on the floor. ... show more

I can't speak for the easy assembly category because my lovely husband put these suckers together, but they are way more comfortable and sturdy than I thought they would be, especially for the price which was so much more reasonable than comparable sets at Lowe's. Definitely recommend. ***EDIT*** Over a year later, I've had these chairs and table out in all four seasons of weather and they still look and feel as great as they did when we first got them. ... show more

It was somewhat difficult to put together, one of the holes wasnt threaded and was smaller than expected. Looks good and serves its purpose I'm happy with it and my husband and I love sitting on the porch!

After reading the reviews, I was skeptical about the quality of this set but I'm pleased to write this review...If you are considering this set, you will not be disappointed! *The set is a perfect size for a tiny front porch like mine. *They look amazing. The price point is great. *I love that this set is not true wicker and is a PU product that will withstand rain/snowy weather and not rot. *Im a bigger gal and these seem to fit me well and they are comfortable to sit in without squeezing me. *they are very sturdy when assembled properly. *They were super easy to put together-only an alan key with pleanty of screws and washers! ... show more

    • Excellent, but terrible instructions

Love this set. I have a tiny patio in my apartment, and these are perfect. They are large enough for most humans, but small enough to allow actually walking room on my patio. Plus they look nice. assembly was not hard, it was just annoying because it's all allen, and you get two tiny allen wrenches. Just tedious. As for the instructions, they are pretty much terrible. Luckily it's common sense. But there are two sized of screws, with no real labels and absolutely terrible pictures where you have to just guess which one is which. Also, second to last step, "DO NOT TIGHTEN YET", followed by next step that has no tightening and just says "NOW ENJOY!" so the instructions clearly tell you not to tighten then just sit down lol. Obviously, don't do that... So common sense put together. But if you can get past the very terrible instructions, then it's a great set, especially for the price. I docked two stars for ease to put together for those instructions. ... show more

This is a really good outdoor chair and desk combo. The chairs are of good quality and have held up against the Florida sun surprisingly well. I have them placed on the balcony of my condo and they have not faded or tarnished since I've bought them. The cushions are comfy and firm enough that they don't sink in when you sit on them. I keep the cushions inside to protect them from getting dirty, but I have had them get rained on and I had no problem with them drying up. They hold up well to the outside elements. The packaging is like Ikea furniture which is to say that it takes an hour to fully build up all three pieces if you're mechanically inclined. The included hardware is sturdy enough to build with but the labeling could be improved on. Compared to other types of outdoor furniture out there this seems to be the best quality for the price that you pay. These are not soo cheap that they break just by looking at them, they hold up well and look very stylish. ... show more
