I am happy with this purchase. I'm using them in my home office that I decorated to not be too "officey". They are simple but nice looking. The photo I posted reads as a bit more gray on my phone than they are in person. You can see the linen weave in the fabric which I like as it adds texture visually in the room. I ordered these curtains after my first order on Amazon for curtains was a bust. The initial curtains I ordered felt like tablecloths and didn't let much light through. I did my research checking other customer's pictures of these curtains. I'm happy to report that they are just like the photos, perfectly semi sheer. I live on the second floor and at night was worried that people on the street might be able to see into my apartment due to the fact that I can see them pretty clearly from my room. With these curtains, all my fears are gone! I have checked how they look from the outside and seriously can't see anything except the warm glow of my light from inside. They block some street light from getting in and are also great during the day, letting in a perfect wash of ambient light all day and blocking some of the more harsh morning light that often wakes me up. The texture is woven and feels like a rough cotton; the weave is not as noticeable visibly as some other curtains I have seen. They are not perfectly wrinkle free but that may also be due to the fact that I left them piled on the floor for a few days before I could convince my boyfriend to help me install the curtain rod :) I ordered a total of 4 panels (2 sets of 2) for my 104" window and they look great. These let in a good amount of light without being completely sheer. I have them in front of blinds for when I want light and some privacy when I raise the blinds. I love the color it's just what I had hoped for from the product photos. In the photo I attached they are next to a wall that is light blue not white. I would recommend getting the wrinkles out before hanging. I had hoped gravity would do it for me in a few days but because of how they were folded in the box they are still wrinkled. ... show more

We live out in the country and I don’t really like blinds. But during a certain time of day the sun can be very bright so these curtains are perfect. They look great! I just got a shower pole and hem tape from Walmart and made they look custom (not tools or sewing machine required!!) it’s very easy cause the curtains have fabric lines that you can follow to keep it looking very straight at the bottom ... show more

I took a chance and purchased 7 sets of these for the upstairs of our home. I had purchased similar curtains from Target for the downstairs at twice the price ($20 something for a single panel). My husband thinks they look exactly the same! These do offer light while also some privacy. The white color certainly brightens up all our rooms. I saw a review that these were shiny, which made me nervous because I had previously purchased and returned a shiny silk-like curtain. However, these are not shiny. I can understand how someone might say they have a slight sheen, but it really just adds to the texture of the curtain and doesn't have a shiny look at all about them.
