Took it back to Costco for a refund and purchased the Sun Joe SPX 3501,on a friends reccomenedation and I am completely satisfied! Easty to use and maneuver, powerful enough for around the house cleaning and then some. More powerful than the Husaqvarna! I was skeptical to purchase this pressure washer compared to an electric with a metal frame, but this pressure washer does the job. Bought it to wash landscape rock in my garden beds and cleans off mud and mildew using the 15 deg nozzle nicely. Have also used for cleaning plastic chairs, outside table and trash can. All parts were included and instructions are fairly clear so no issues putting together. I have to admit the hose reel is not the sturdiest as it is plastic so poor engineering design in materials for reel. Have used it frequently over a week with no leaks and performs the same each time. So far pleased with the purchase. Hopefully it lasts for years. ... show more

This Sun Joe pressure washer is great. I've had four others over the last twenty years. All the others were the portable no wheels type which are alright but just a little under powered for trying to do gutters. One Karcher, two AR, and one Worx. But electric power keeps increasing so this time I went for the Sun Joe with a brush-less motor. It's working great. I really like the instant start on water pressure when the trigger is pulled. The others always had a hesitation or a wait for the last cycle to run down. It is a heavy beast but the wheels make it maneuverable. I got this through the Amazon Warehouse. The previous buyer/returner had put the reel together incorrectly but I just reassembled it and pulled the slightly deformed plastic parts with bungee cord over night. Now its like spanking new!     • Awesome, convenient and powerful electrical pressure washer, LASTED LESS THAN A YEAR
Until one day, after 3-4 months of no use, I plugged it in, and the pump does not run. Tried resetting the GFCI outlet + integrated GFCI on the plug itself. No change. This was my first electrical pressure washer, and have been absolutely thrilled with it until it ceased working. I primarily used it for light duty cleaning my household lawn equipment and vehicles utilizing a foam cannon. I would say I put 6-8hrs on the unit over the 7 months I have owned it. When it ceased working, that was it. No hesitation from the pump or noises, it just quit. Aside from small things like needing to buy a hose extension I have no other complaints, But I expected it to last longer. I read the reviews regarding poor customer service and often requiring you to mail in your unit without knowing if you will receive a replacement, not to mention, who keeps the boxes for these products 7+ months after purchase. ... show more

    • Great product that really works
I've used this water pressure washer for several months and have experienced no issues. I follow a specific routine -- connect water and turn on the faucet, plug in, squeeze the handle to turn on the water flow, and lastly turn on the unit. This way the water is running through the unit before the pumps start and I have avoided the problems several other reviews mentioned. Plus -- has sufficient power, usually using the 15 degree plug, to clean any surfaces I've tried. I have the Universal Turbo Head Spray Nozzle and this works quite well, but doesn't clean as well as the 15 nozzle (but it's faster). I purchased the Extension Hose and highly recommend buying this to increase the range of use. Also got the SPX-5N1 5-in-1 Universal Pressure Washer Hose Nozzle and recommend this for the speed of usage when you contemplate needing to change pressure nozzle settings. Neutral -- I got the 10-Inch Patio Cleaning Attachment and it works for cleaning a driveway but isn't powerful enough to clean a wood deck surface. Minus -- the Hose Roller on the top of the unit is pretty flimsy and the plastic handle broke on me when I rolled up the hose. Recommend buying this unit. ... show more

Main issue is the crimped connection leaks a lot of water, into the soap tray. The hose reel is extremely difficult to turn by a small handle, and not worth the effort or time to roll it up. Pressure is good. However water flow was not enough. It's a fine mist and using the least restrictive or no connection at all, the water flow is less than your normal garden hose. Car wash bays have a lot more water flow and pressure than this machine. Engine noise level sounds about right. Your neighbors can hear it, but not too loud. ... show more

    • Good with some modifications.
To begin with, I had to order this model twice due to an error with Amazon. After I finally received the pressure washer, the cord holder was broken due to poor handling and packaging. I now have to roll the cord and stuff it in between the handle and the hose reel to have a place to stow it. I was able to get around this as I just wanted to use it and didn't want to wait on Amazon to ship me another which took aver a month the first time with Prime. I used it once and it worked fine. I went to use it again to find that it was leaking from every possible crevice that water could come out of. I put it aside for awhile as I did some research as I would rather fix it than wait for a new one if it was easy to fix. I found that the original connections on the gun, hose and water line connection didn't have appropriate seals. I wrapped each with teflon tape and replaced all of the plastic connections with brass. I also replaced the gun with something a little nicer to control. After these small tweaks, the washer works great and there isn't any leaks. A small note, the hose reel is not worth the money as it can be difficult to wind and unwind. ... show more
