I just had a new roof and gutters installed with Shur-Flo gutter guards, Quite a hefty investment! I was also tired of paying $125 twice a year for gutter cleaning, as I live on a wooded lot. After searching for universal extension kits that got quite pricey and seemed terribly cumbersome with a heavy blower, I decide to buy this lightweight baby for $26 with a $17 Sun Joe gutter extension kit. It worked out perfectly on the first level gutters. The second level was not reachable without a small ladder, but I'm leery about ladders nowadays. So I purchased another kit and used the screw-able pieces to gain more height and that did it! Its a little hard to control at first, but once you get the hang of it, it works great and keeps me at ground level. It's spring and most of the debris is brown tree fuzz, helicopters and such. I'll have to wait til fall to see how everything works on leaves, but it seems to be effective if things are dry. When you use the second kit, you might want to wrap stress area tubes with duct tape or periodically check for loosening tubes- that's the only annoying part. I'm not sure how it'd work on gutters without guards, but I think it'd work out fine. Can't imagine doing this with a heavy blower and universal tubing kits. This is a nice gutter cleaning system for less than $65. The blower also does a nifty job of blowing the debris aside. I recommend it with the subject blower. ... show more

    • Gets the job done. Well worth $20 to stay off the ladder.
Does a nice job. Tried to "rig it" on a gas powered blower. It did not work. Angle of the motor while pointing up at the gutter caused fuel issues to the carb. Instead, I "rigged" it to my troybuilt backpack leaf blower using duct tape. Worked good. I agree with the suggestion on another review about using tape for the joints. They would not stay together without doing this. It does clean even wet leafs from the gutter. You DO get dirty when they are wet... but it does work. Well worth the $20 to stay off the ladder... ... show more

    • Eye protection and a dust mask required
I was not sure that this extension would work, but for the price, thought it was worth a try. The extension did not fit on my small Sun Joe blower but did fit fine with the Portland 3 In 1. The extension was able to reach into the gutters while I walked along the ground. This was so much safer than climbing up and down a tall ladder cleaning the gutters a section at a time. While I did not have a lot of leaves in the gutters, I did have a great deal of dirt, twigs, and debris. A dust mask, eye protection, and head protection are a must. All of the stuff in the gutter blows up, out, and down to the ground. Expect to be covered by falling leaves and dirt. Yes, it is a bit awkward lifting up a leaf blower with a long wobbly extension and then having to drag it along the gutter. But it works. While a very dirty job, this was by far, the easiest and safest way I have found to clean my gutters. ... show more

It works, what more can I ask for and it doesn’t waste water by using the hose. The pole comes apart easily and at one point I had to get a long pole to retrieve the pole hook and pole portion stuck to my high gutter; so, just be careful to tighten the sections. I hoped it would fit the leaf blower I already owned but it did not so I bought the Sun Joe that is made to fit which is cheap enough. I wii use it again and will to again use my goggles to protect my eyes. ... show more

    • Great Concept, poor design
This is plastic, which I knew, but the pieces don't really connect - they screw together, but very poorly - while trying to use this, it swayed back and forth very badly causing the tubing to come apart where they connect (sometimes they unscrewed, but mostly the top tube just slid over the threads of the inner tube) - I had to constantly stop and reconnect the pieces. Also, the piece that attaches directly to the blower fits well and stays attached, but the piece that attaches to that, and every piece afterwards, has a bad fit and does not stay together. Due to all the swaying (and I mean the tubing itself, not my lack of control), one of the tubes actually bent. I really, really wanted this to work - I would have been happy if it just worked "pretty well" so that I wouldn't have to deal with ladders any more, but this just didn't work at all. Great concept, poor. This product is sold by Wayfair - I contacted them and they refunded the price quickly and without any problems. This product is sold by Wayfair, not made by them, so this isn't their fault, and this 1 star review is not a reflection of Wayfair. I would purchase from Wayfair again. ... show more

    • No more ladders!
I bought a leaf blower with getting one of the kits in mind. Then I find out that the manufacturer of my leaf blower didn't make a kit that would fit my model. No sense in paying a good amount of money for a kit that you will need to alter to get it fit. Much to my surprise, the adapter fit over my leaf blower with no issues. With the help of some black gorilla tape of course. I also used the same tape to hold all the screw in pipe sections together because I had seen complaints of them coming loose. So when that was done, it was time to test it out and clean some gutters! And it worked very well for me. Had all the gutters cleaned in record time and without the use of a ladder. Which was wonderful because I can't climb ladders anymore after having a knee replacement. So for me, with my alterations, the product worked wonderfully. ... show more

Nice, simple and light attachment. Nice design,and easy to use. Only issue I had was the adapter piece included did not fit onto my SunJoe electric blower (SBJ597E). The kit comes with two different adapters, and one is "almost" identical to the piece which would fit my blower. This is my fault in that the blower I have is not on the compatible list, but I bought it based on the pictures. It seems odd SunJoe would make two different, almost identical adapters for their blowers. Anyways, nothing a little duct tape wouldn't fix to make this work fine for the few time you need it, and the reason for only 4 stars. ... show more
