I purchased this for a sofa bed, knowing how uncomfortable they can be. We took it on vacation with us since we were staying in a one bedroom, and I volunteered to be the sacrificial lamb to sleep in the sofa bed. the first night was strange as it was still not fully inflated. The second night it was heavenly (it became so apparent I was getting the best sleep in the family, I had people offering to switch places). And when they tried my bed, they did not want to get off it. My original plans were to leave this once my two week vacation was over, however, I've brought it home. Bought an ‘88 Minnie Winnie and needed a “mattress” for the loft bed. The 4 inch works perfectly, just cut it to size. It’s not just for the dog. But she dies love it, the spoiled brat. I am 5’8 and slept great on it. Working so well that we got another one for the bed that the little table turns into, much more comfortable than just the cushions it came with. I clean for a friend that got this for her bed so I knew exactly what I was getting, they are perfect. They can be easily cut to size with an electric knife. Seriously, do not cut it with anything else. Electric knife, it’s like butter.

I liked it came in a small box for a King size pad vacuumed sealed 2x3.ft if that .. What I didn’t like is the extra shipping and handling charge of $30 plus more shipping costs to get it here unless you choose to wait longer but still came pretty quick. It’s not oversize by any means so I don’t know why Amazon is tacking that on . This was used in a V berth on a boat over the padded bed area , cuts to shape very easy with a fillet knife to score the cut than I used a Electric Turkey craving knife to saw thru the rest . Turned out really nice . My idea of a very comfortable night sleep on the hook . Money well spent …

I'm only giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 simply because there isn't much with cooling as it implied. These memory foam products are just hot. I've yet to find one that isn't. But this memory foam is super comfortable and sturdy. I've taking it off and on several times and it's help up every time. Like I said, the only drawback is it's super hot but get a good sheet set and that helps mitigate some of the heat. I recommend this product.

Because of a depth issue and cushioning, if a foam mattress is too deep, it will be too hard to move over on the mattress. Whether up or down or toward the middle of the mattress or to the edge, the sinking into the deeper mattress is like falling into a hole and trying to climb out. I don't recommend the 4 inch or deeper. foam mattresses. If you don;t like it and it is opened, it is impossible to pack back up to send back or vacuum pack it again.

I read tons of these reviews before I purchased. I was seeking pain relief from arthritis and aftermath of several surgeries. Attached are pics of unpacking and the mattress coming "awake". Total time was 2 hours from opening to being fully expanded. When it was flat finally after unrolling it I did give it a shake (like shaking a sheet on to the bed) as best I could. Arthritis allowed only a few shakes. Got it flat on the bed and didn't have alot of hope it was going to expand. It did, within 1.5 hours. So it didn't take long at all. Some say it is difficult to move on it. I would say a bit if you aren't used to it. But I will learn how to adjust for the pain relief this has given me. Some say it is too warm. I can see maybe people would be sensitive to temperatures. It's chilly outside and I keep my house very cool. So it was fine with me. During the summer I believe I will put another layer over it and it will be plenty cool. **** The main part of this review is in one night of sleeping on it I woke up I would say with 75% LESS pain. I did not expect to get that much relief. I would have been happy with any relief at all from the morning pain I am used to. This was so wonderful and I am facing the day with plenty of energy because of it. I slept 2 hours longer and my Fitbit shows I had much less "awake" time. I attribute this to the huge reduction of pain during the night. In over a decade I have not been able to sleep on my right side or my back due to hot pressure points and arthritis. Well I tried (with success) to fall asleep on my right side to see if I could, and woke up on my back with no pain at all. Lengthy review I agree. I wanted to address some of the concerns and all of the positives. This mattress topper is a life changer.

I bought this mattress topper about a year ago and here is my opinion about it. I bought 3 inch foam mattress topper but I wish I got 2 inch mattress topper because it is too soft for my husband and he can’t sleep on it and wakes up with back pain. For me who had chronic back pain it is very comfy and I’m waking up without back pain. It has little holes so you wouldn’t sweat at night. My husband is heavy sweater and he sleeps perfectly it is not too hot. This is my honest review and hope it helps to people who looking for good and comfy mattress toping. It is the cheaper solution for your pack pain.
