I've had this topper for about 2 months now and I'm overall pretty happy with it. We purchased a new mattress a few months ago and unfortunately it was a bit more firm than expected. This topper has definitely made a difference in comfort. It needs to be fluffed about once a week and I suggest putting a protective cover over top because this thing would be pretty impossible to wash without really messing it up. I can't see it lasting more than a year or so, I've already noticed it hasn't been getting as "fluffly" after fluffing as it was when I first purchased it. But for the price, I think lasting a year is fair. Long story short: it seems to be pretty decent quality and it has certainly improve comfort and sleep quality. ... show more

As soon as I opened it it started to fluff up. I wanted to put the extra time in to fluff it up as much as possible so I shook it out really well then I went through each square and pulled at the fibers. I then put it in the dryer on medium heat for 30 min and half way through took it out fluffed and put it back in it fluffed up beautifully except on the edges. I put it on my bad which is pretty thick because I also have a tempurpedic topper. The elastics should be longer. They barely go over the corners and could easily slip off so that was one disappointment. I fluffed the edges more which helped. It’s very soft and as thick as pictured after you put the time in. I used it that night and was extremely uncomfortable and hot. I woke up frequently and could feel the seems and was hot dogged and sunk to the mattress. I tried it that next day with a mattress cover over it to see if it would help but it didn’t. I’m really disappointed. I was really excited to get this topper but I don’t think it’s for me. I may have to return it. I’m stumped on how many stars to give because it’s not the fault of the seller and it may work for some but I personally don’t think it’s worth the money when you can feel the seams and it doesn’t lift you away from the mattress ... show more

We love the comfort this added to our mattress. You just sink into it but still have the firmness of the mattress (depends on your mattress). It did seem to stretch down the sides of the mattress after a while. I need to make some alterations to it to fix that.

I have arthritis in my back and hips and so sleeping is tricky for me. It is ridiculous, but I have a 14 inch memory foam bed, topped with a 3 inch memory foam egg-crate topper, and now I've topped THAT with this 3 inch featherbed topper. And this topper was the magic ticket that finally has allowed me to get a decent night sleep. The four elastic bands are thick and strong, and big enough to just barely fit over the 17" of foam and secure under my mattress. My bed is adjustable, and I move the legs and/or head several times each night. This topper has not budged once. I did let it rise for two days and then tossed it in the dryer on low for a few minutes to fluff it up, and that worked well. ... show more
