I purchased a new bed since my old mattress was a pillow top and approximately 12 years old. I was waking up incessantly with back pain so I decided to get a firmer mattress and I severely over corrected! My new mattress is a firm Tempur-Pedic type and felt great at the store but after two nights at home it felt like I was sleeping on the floor! I went through a couple mattress pads that I stacked together and that did not work to make the mattress more bearable. I ran across this one and it is a game changer. It is thick, comfortable and provides that pillow top feeling with just the right amount of firmness now with my mattress. It does show the little squares under your sheets, however, if you make your bed is not noticeable. For me it does not sleep hot and makes no noise when you move on it. The mattress pad stays in place too and does not shift while sleeping. I have an adjustable base and it has not affected the topper at all. I'm so glad I went with the reviews and purchased this one because I was ready to throw the new mattress on the curb! The pad has no smell either. As for washability, you better have a large drum washing machine because this thing is thick! I fluffed it out of my bed first like it said and then tossed in my dryer. I do have a large dryer and washing machine but when this was put in my dryer it took up the entire thing. When it is time to wash it, I will take it to the dry cleaner. This is a great mattress pad and I 100% recommend.

I need to say WOW to this product!! We just bought a new mattress couple of weeks ago. It was too firm for me. It got to the point that I was suffering every night and I had so much pain on my shoulder and back. I was so miserable. I bought another mattress top and I returned it since did not do anything for me. This one! I received it the same day and last night was my second night of sleeping on it. The first night I was amazed, the difference it made was immediate and my pain was almost gone by morning! Second night was even better! I highly recommend it. It is a wonderful product, one of the best thing that I ordered from Amazon. I was so scared to sleep at night before this, and now I know how comfortable it makes me to be.

I bought this one and I also bought a bamboo one at the same time, I was skeptical that I was going to find a good one on the first try. In comparing this with the other bamboo one I found that this one was exactly what I hoped it would be! It’s perfect! Absolutely recommend! It is extremely comfortable, easy to put on, takeoff, and wash! Not only does it feel like a cloud, but it makes your bed look like a cloud. The only con is that I think about laying down in bed all day now lol! Can’t wait for bedtime every day!

The soft top is helpful when breaking in a new memory foam bed. I got my first good night's sleep with this topper. You do need to wash it and dry it before placing it on your mattress. The fluff from the dryer is helpful. I was worried about the quilted top pockets forming uneven lumps, but nope. Everything stayed in place all night. Here's to many more good nights' sleep. I do want to mention this topper kept me warm throughout the whole night. I run cold with 2 blankets, but I woke up with only 1.
