Been using this product for years. I have short hair and this works great. Great hold and good smell. This recent batch however seems a bit off. Not sure if they changed the formula but the product is extremely soft now and not as firm as it once was in the container. I can tell a difference as well when applying and also with the hold. Texture: Between a cream and a clay Scent: Light, clean, salted lime Hold: Without really caking this stuff on, it's a medium. Too slick to tame longer styles back especially in humidity or rain as it seems to become far more slippery when wet (duh) and lose most integrity shortly thereafter. I'll use this when if I cut my hair short again. I do love the scent and it seems to wash out better than most unless you're already using a water based product. I always received compliments on my hair, texture, and scent; and it's all thanks to the Suavacito Matte Pomade. While Suavacito has an incredible line-up of products, I'll focus more on what I love about the matte pomade. :) Pros: - Easy to spread: By far one of the most easily spreadable pomades I've used. I take about a nickel size worth of product, work it into my hands, then massage it into my hair to make sure I get every hair possible. - Little to no fly-aways: Because of how easy it is to spread this pomade, it gets every single hair on my head, giving me that Hollywood perfect haircut! No exaggeration. - The scent is a warm scent, and can be paired very nicely with just about any scented lotion and/or cologne. Cons: - I have noticed that sometimes the containers I get are slightly off in color. Sometimes a bright white, and sometimes a warmer white. Although they smell the same, it's very easy to tell that the consistency of the product has changed.
