This is my 2nd jar of this!!!!! I have 4C hair that has a TOTAL mind if it’s own... I’ve tried all the edge control, gorilla snots, rub challenges out there (thee the rub challenge one away because it didn’t work on my hair). One day while getting my hair braided, the braider put this on my edges and I told her it wouldn’t work... she promised me it would and would “lay dem edges DOWN”.... imagine my shock when it laid my edges!!!!! I like the consistency but this is def a gel that flakes and leaves white in your hair. You have to cover it with oil or something, you cannot use this alone. I left my house with my hair looking great and got to work and looked in the mirror and I was horrified by all the white in my hair!! Great thickness but def will flake. ... show more
