Nice sturdy, quality bed rail. It feels secure and helpful for getting in and out of bed. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions are not very clear and the instructional video is not very helpful. There is a strap that comes with it to secure the rail to the bed, but we could never figure out how that was supposed to work. Fortunately it isn't really necessary. I knocked it down from 5 stars to 4 only because of the instructions issue.

My husband actually got this for me to use because I was having surgery and the doctor had said I might have trouble and discomfort if I tried using abdominal muscles too much until fully recovered. I looked comments from others who had similar and most complained the worst was getting up out of bed, so he go me this. I am so grateful to him, this really was a blessing. It folds down easily and while our mattress is not very high, it still isn't very intruding with, higher mattress probably work best. The handle raises and lowers easy with a squeeze of a button in the middle. It locks in place firmly and I have been able to use my arms to raise and lower myself with no problems and almost no discomfort. I can get up and down by myself, which I like. This works well and was perfect for me, and can see it easily used by someone elderly too.

This is a wonderful bed rail. It folds down and comes with a rechargeable light, a bottle holder and a bag to hold your phone and remote. The only thing is, the directions are confusing. I had to play around with it for a long time before I could figure out how to get it right. I put it together opposite of what the directions say. Otherwise the poles wouldn’t slide in and the holes wouldn’t match up. I have a hard time getting up in my bed. This will make my life a lot easier. Great product, just a pain to put together. I took off one star because of the difficulty putting this together and the vague instructions. But if I could put it together, anyone can.

This portable bedrail is adjustable, to make it taller, but on the lowest setting it will be a tad higher than would be perfect for my mom, but it will work. Looks decent and it feels solid and secure. Has a nice little pocket pouch on it to hold a phone or remote. It also came with a little stick-on portable LED light, which I have no idea where that should go or if it even goes with it. It is minorly tricky to put together. I had to enlist help to get it done, since my patience is often limited, lol. The directions are a little too glib and simplistic than reality. Figuring out right or left, on a main body that can face either way, was one thing. If you're going to label some parts Right and Left, then label the main base too. And we spent quite a lot of time searching for 2 bolts that show as part of the parts list... looking like they are in their own packet, or as a part of the assembly... and they are. We couldnt find any packet of bolts anywhere. We then found they were already screwed into place in two of the other parts! Sigh. It performs well, and feels secure. It sticks up a little high, and will interfere with a bedspread or comforter, but I suppose that's not a huge deal. I think it seems pretty good quality for the money.
