It is easy to set up the whole thing. The solar panel is very stable and can mount on the roof or wherever you want. Also, the light bulbs are bright enough for my backyard, it decorates our backyard on another level. we had our night party, and the BBQ party under it, super enjoyable. it lasted over 4hours after fully charged, I think it's enough for most of the cases/events. It is way more convenient than the normal lights! It comes with a controller and we can remotely dim the brightness and set the timer for the light bulbs. The lights are easy to hang and give off a bright light. However, the lights don’t work properly. I can’t get them to stay in a steady light mode. They just keep cycling through all of the modes. The lights also don’t work unless it is a pitch dark. I had to put a cover over the sensor to make the lights go on. I have other string lights on the sides of these lights and they work fine. I am returning these lights and will find another set. Update. I was able to get them working by adjusting the mode on the back of the solar charging panel. The remote doesn’t work ( at least not for me). So now the lights have gone on the past 4 nights and look good. We will see how they last. I would raise to 3 1/2 stars. ... show more

You have to press extremely hard on the panel to turn on the lights but it works well. Also the remote DOES NOT WORK. Overall keeping the lights because it’s doing its job.

These will only light up at dark, i didnt know that but i guess that's the same as the other solar runnning lights I've brought in the past for our landscaping. Not particularly bright but work well enough.
