Ordered for my yard because I liked the look. Learning how to set the modes is a bit of work. I initially thought they were defective but they somehow began to work and I can't seem to change the mode. Causing me to have to turn them off manually each night. I really like these lights. They were easy to set up, they seem durable, they give off just the right amount of light for a soft night glow. I originally bought them for my chicken coop run, since they were solar and the night is upon us sooner and sooner. To be honest, they are prolly too fancy for that, lol. I really wanted to give these a 5 star review because I really enjoy them. Unfortunately I cant, because of one minor issue, the lights wont turn on until it is really dark outside, like 45mins after the sun sets. Other than that, they are great. ... show more

In fortunately, I had to request a replacement set due to electrical malfunction and some bulbs started to take on water. Installation was the hardest part. I carefully measured out and sank wire nails into my eve to hang the string. During the day, there was no way to gauge my success. The spot I picked for the solar panel was in partial shade. Will it be enough juice? It was! On the first two nights, I was surprised by blinking lights when night fell. But I programmed the remote to level them out. Now, every nightfall I get the beautiful entry you see in the picture. The bulbs may be plastic, but they look like glass.
