You can change it to the handles on the outside so its easier to use the board as a tray, if you want. However, I have such little counter space, I like them not sticking out. This stove top cover is a nice addition to the kitchen and do a good job adding extra counter space when the burners aren’t in use. The handles are a great touch—they make it easy to move on and off when you need to cook. Overall, the build feels sturdy and it fits well over the stove. The only downside I’ve noticed is some discoloration from the heat of the oven over time, which takes away a bit from the appearance. Still, it’s functional and convenient for everyday use, just something to keep in mind if appearance is a big factor for you. ... show more

Induction stove top I'm sick to death of having to scrub it down all of the time even boiling water sometimes I just don't want to clean it this fits perfectly over it and I use it as a prep station as well worth every bit of money looks beautiful

The Pros: I think it’s beautiful. It comes with small gripper pads to keep it from moving. I may add some heavier ones later if I keep it but these work. It stays unless you move it. The Cons: It came damaged in three places. The corners are put in styrofoam but it’s pretty flimsy material. The rest is in loosely applied bubble wrap. The defects aren’t too severe, so I’m still not sure if I’m keeping it. I haven’t really used it but did switch the handles. Not really sure why the handle holes are different sizes, there is no variation to the handle I can see, but it worked well enough. Just a couple notes that may or may not matter to people: The handles do stick out over the counter. This obvious by the photo but thought I’d mention it anyway. I’m using it on a glass stovetop and it fits well on top, it does not lap over or hug the stove. I have a Frigidaire oven. It is heavy, but I guess from other reviews that’s a matter of opinion. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker, I think that speaks to the overall quality of the wood. It’s just a shame it came damaged. ... show more

Beautiful addition to my kitchen. Hate the exposed coil electric burners. Extra counterspace as oven is next to the Keurig and mugs so this is now my little coffee station. Just wish it was heat resistant so would not have to be removed when the oven is on. I rarely use my oven as I have a french door oven (amazon) that I use all the time.
