These are exceptionally pretty cutting boards. They look terrific in the stand , pretty enough to display. But want I want to highlight in this review is the company’s terrific customer service. The stand arrived cracked and I wrote the company to let them know. I didn’t really mind, because the boards were super and could be perfectly happy without the stand. They sent me a whole new set! So nice. They answered me immediately and were really professional and kind. All in all it’s a terrific product made by a responsible and talented company.

I like how it came packaged, came very well secured and came with a post card how to clean them. The base is great does not move around it’s very sturdy. Looks great I have to clean them but and use them but so far they look great!

I am getting rid of a plastic cutting board - risk of plastic residue on or in the food is the issue. I saw these were on sale and decided to purchase them. Even though I rated these as 4 star - I really like these and would actually grade them higher at maybe a 4.7/4.8. The only reason I did not give a 5 was because while washing and drying (splinter #1 on drying) and then applying mineral oil (splinter # 2 & 3). I feel the boards should be a little better finished and should not have defects (nicks in the material) where the splinters occurred. Other than that minor issue, the quality does seem nice and they are very usable sizes and I look forward to getting plenty of use out of them.

This is a beautiful set of wooden cutting boards that serve every purpose, even as a charcuterie board. Many hands make the load light, as they say, and these board make that saying a reality. I like the fact they light-weight and make for easy cleanup. We oiled them with food -grade mineral oil and they have held up very well so far. I really love the stand for storage. Im so glad I bought them.

I received this set of cutting boards they were packed very well. I used the smaller one first and noticed a small crack on both sides of the board. At first I thought it was the grain in the bamboo but no it was a fine split that after using a second time it had gotten longer and wider. I was disappointed and notified the seller by email. I received a quick response with an offer to refund or replace. I really liked this set so I chose to replace. I was sent a beautiful replacement no cracks or splits. This company has excellent customer service. They take pride in their products. I would definitely buy from them again.

UPDATE (10 May 2025): I was contacted by Smirly after posting my original review and offered a full refund or a replacement. Since I very much like the cutting boards and wanted to give them another shot, I opted for the replacement. I have since received the replacement boards and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. They are flat! And they look, as with the originals, to be really well made, high quality, solid wood. I will update my review further in a couple of weeks, as necessary. I have to say, I am thoroughly IMPRESSED with Smirly’s customer service and willingness to correct my issue. Thank you, Smirly! :D Original Review: I am extremely disappointed with what I thought would be great, high quality cutting boards. Not because the wood is poor or they’re coming apart/delaminating, but because they WARPED! All three boards warped over the course of a week just sitting in the stand. They arrived flat, but within a week after arrival (HAVING NOT BEEN USED AT ALL!) all three cutting boards are now warped and do not sit flat on the counter. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I am so disappointed. On the positive side, the design of the tray is really nice and super functional. The thickness of the wood is substantial and feels really sturdy. The sizes of the cutting boards are also very nice, providing options for all sorts of food prep. I just wish that they had stayed flat!
