Excellent for my needs

LOVE these cutting boards! They are exactly what I needed, and I plan to buy more in the future. The sizes are good for serious daily prep, and the unique cut of the surface solved a problem for me. I do not like cutting boards with a track running around the border. I have preferred the cheaper bamboo cutting boards because they are flat without that track. But these cutting boards have the flat surface that angles back, allowing my cutting area to not have any obstruction, but still be able to catch at the back any fluids or chopped foods pushed away from the front. Also, they are thick! I wood burned labels on them to let the household know what each cutting board was for. There was an unpleasant odor that sometimes burned my eyes when I was wood burning. The edges on the cutting boards could potentially give a small splinter, but it is easy to knock any rough parts down with a piece of sandpaper. If these are cared for, I predict they will last a loooong time.

Beautiful set of Cutting Boards

I received this set of cutting boards they were packed very well. I used the smaller one first and noticed a small crack on both sides of the board. At first I thought it was the grain in the bamboo but no it was a fine split that after using a second time it had gotten longer and wider. I was disappointed and notified the seller by email. I received a quick response with an offer to refund or replace. I really liked this set so I chose to replace. I was sent a beautiful replacement no cracks or splits. This company has excellent customer service. They take pride in their products. I would definitely buy from them again.

A great deal.

I got these on sale, so I am basing my review on a price point that may be lower than advertised currently. With that said, they are worth full price! I really enjoy these and use them daily. 100% get some butcher block oil and oil them f=prior to use. There's a reminder to do this included with the package. I've had them a few months and they're holding up well. I use them almost daily and I have had no complaints. I would suggest washing and drying them once you're done in order to preserve them, also. The utensils included are a bit gimmicky and they're unrefined wooden pieces (think dollar store stuff). The utensils are a nice addition if you need them and will do their job until you can replace them, though. Overall, I strongly suggest these boards. I like the size and weight, as they're not too heavy, yet they're sturdy. They aren't bulky nor too small to be usable. I upgraded from 2 boards (1 meat and 1 veggie) and I do find myself using those 2 the most by far. Having the ability to keep the from cross-contaminating food by having a selection of boards is valuable. So, I'll stop writing now and say that I personally would recommend them - especially if you can get them on sale.

Great purchase and Use them Frequently

I finally pulled the trigger on a wood cutting board. These are great for the value and came with a much needed stand to save space. The three different sizes are great and the smallest one usually does the trick for me. The design is great to keep particles on the board and the angle of the board makes it easier to push food off. I’ve had no problems so far. I don’t know much about cutting boards and always used plastic ones. They seemed a little dry in the beginning and prone to warping, so I used the mineral oil before I started using them and rub it on every so often. I dry them immediately make sure they are standing up afterwards. So far so good!

Pretty, sturdy

I bought this set of cutting boards to replace my really old cutting board. I like these SO much better! 1) They're pretty, and the stand holds them well. I have no reservations about leaving them on my countertops all the time. 2) Although they're significantly thinner than my old cutting board, they're still sturdy. I can cut items on them and then carry them across the kitchen without any hint that the board is sagging. 3) The largest one is bigger than my old cutting board, but small enough to fit in my drawers. If I decided to store these in drawers instead of on the counter, they would fit in my silverware drawer. (Not sure where I'd put my siverware in that case, though, lol.) 4) The whole set cost less than many individual cutting boards. Because of my weird schedule, I often cook two or three meals at a time, and I find myself using two or three of these almost every time I cook. 5) They have grooves for catching juice. I LOVE this about them! The only question I have left is, "Will they stand the test of time?" Since I've had them less than a month, I can't really answer that question yet.
