I'll knock complaints out of the way first; it's the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. The mats don't fit correctly into the board insert on the one I have. It causes a bit of a bubble that prevents everything from losing completely flat. Otherwise, it's an excellent board. It has non-slip feet that prevent the board from sliding around. Having a mat on top of a board and everything stores in it? Ingenuity/concept is too tier. The board feels sturdy and it's large enough for me to cut everything I need to in one go. If I need to swap out between meats and vegetables, I even have a place to store the already cut food without dirtying an extra dish (outside of the mat, but when it comes to avoiding cross contamination, you'd probably be dirtying 2). Getting the mats to sit appropriately in the storage area isn't perfect--it requires you to make sure it's seated correctly--but it's an all in one solution to cutting. My favorite part is that it gives you the sturdy cutting feel of wood, with the ease of cleaning plastic provides. Seriously though, if you want a good cutting board that will last a long time, not cost you an arm and a leg, look good on a countertop, and provide all the form and function a professional chef might have, look no further. Buy this. Stop looking and just buy this one. I wasn't paid or anything to say any of this. I wasn't given a free board or anything like that. I actually bought this and I doubt I'll ever buy another cutting board. This seems to be a "for life" product. ... show more
