Compact, good bamboo and I like the flatness of the plastic sheets and the fact they fit great underneath. I store it on its side beside my knife frame, its stable. Great for smaller/messier jobs versus my solid wood ones. Recommend.

Very nice cutting board with a few issues. PROS - Good big size board and mats. - Easy to set on the counter and very sturdy. Doesn't slide around. - Has a nice bevel around the top so that if you cut a piece of meat on the wood/bamboo cutting surface the juice doesn't run off onto the counter. - The mats fit perfectly on the cutting board and are surrounded by the bevel so they don't slip around when cutting - I love that the mats store right inside so when my hands are full I don't have to fish around in my cupboard for a cutting board. Clean-up is MUCH easier when cutting on a plastic mat rather than directly on a cutting board. -The mats are dishwasher safe but depending on how straight they stay in the dishwasher they can warp. Then they don't fit into the board. CONS - The plastic cutting mats are pretty flimsy. I would have preferred less mats and having them be a little thicker instead so they wouldn't warp. - It is difficult to get out only 1 mat at a time. In order to use them you have to pull the whole stack out, take one off the top, and shove them back in. - The issue with shoving the mats back in is, the bottom of the cutting board is not solid like the top. The wood is in a frame around the outside. Which means, every time you try to shove them in they catch on the edge of the frame and won't go in until you lift the board push the mats up. I have gotten around that by taping the bottom mat to the bottom of the board so the others slide in and out on it smoothly without getting caught. - Quite pricey for 6 flimsy mats and a cutting board. This is a very practical item but it might not be worth the price unless you have very limited cupboard space for flat items. I am going to keep this because I have used the plastic mats, and even one use leaves cut marks in the top of the mat. If you need to buy someone an expensive gift for a house warming or something this is a good one. I have two residences and normally buy 2 of everything, one for each residence. I would not purchase a second one.

I wasn’t even looking to buy another cutting board but was intrigued with what the product claimed to offer. So I purchased this board and thinking why am I buying yet another cutting board. I have several and not one is anything to write about because each has issues. To be honest I really didn’t want to spend that much for a another cutting board because their always the same and I didn’t think I could get excited over a cutting board but I love love it and have no regrets and no longer need all my other boards. The size is perfect and the bamboo is lovely and with the little rubber feet on the bottom it doesn’t move while cutting and prepping for your meals. The game changer are these 6 additional plastic cutting boards that are nicely tucked inside and are pre marked for different food items to use to prevent cross contamination so no more washing or pulling out another board for a different item to prep. Unbelievable time saver and the mats are just flexible enough to bend and makes transferring to your pot or bowl so much easier. It’s great that when you’re done cutting your meat/fish all you need to do is pull out a clean board. Finally I’m done with a cabinet of multiple cutting boards and have just one with 7 cutting surfaces. I’m very happy with the purchase and recommend this product hands down.

Cons: flimsy boards can’t handle the heat. Pros: all in one storage. Having 6 different boards that can all be stored in one system is awesome. The wood is heavy and sturdy. The wood never slides on my very uneven countertop. While it is a large system, it’s flat enough that it can be added to your kitchen gadgets without feeling overwhelming. The details: The idea is there but the cutting boards can’t handle anything with heat. The moment even just a warm food is placed onto it, the board starts to warp and becomes next to impossible to use correctly. The plastic board begins to slide around as the slight warping forces the board to disengage from its placement on the wood. If you’re cutting cold things, it’s not too bad. Still slides slightly but nothing like when it’s warm. Due to this discovery, I’m now certain that over time (and probably not a long time) the boards will warp permanently due to washing and wear. If the plastic was thicker and/or the corner of the wood had a method of lightly securing the colored plastic boards to the wood, it would be a phenomenal product. The colors are great in teaching my little ones to understand cross contamination. All in all, it’s a good concept with some major flaws. I wouldn’t recommend this product due to these issues, especially at the price point it is. If the plastic boards didn’t warp & stayed secure to the wood, this would be a 10/10 product and worth more than it’s listed for.
