If one likes the look of a cowgirl boot without too much "flash," then these are definitely the boot to buy. When the boots arrived, I was really pleased with how well made they are and how very comfortable they are! And the color was just as it is pictured on the ad. A lot of Western boots often can be style over comfort, but these have both. The stitching is subtle but plentiful, it's tasteful, definitely has that Western flair, and is quite striking, and though I have only so far worn them for one day, (BUT from morning to late night!!) I received several compliments on them from various sources---and this was not a specialized "Western event" where one's boots would be a thing of obvious note. And I really have trouble with most boots hurting my feet after just a couple of hours, but these were comfortable all day. They have a very comfortably designed arched upper and a good arch support, and they have a comfortable, attractive heel height. The one thing I will add, though---I DO have high arches, and so I DID order my boots a half size larger than my normal shoe size and would recommend that anyone who has high arches do the same. I used these for my engagement photoshoot, and I love them!! I have bigger calves so I have a difficulty finding boots that work. These little boots looked amazing, they're so cute, and they didn't look off in proportions. I recommend these for big-calf girlies who can't find boots, but also anyone who wants to try them! Long story short I bought these because due to some unknown reason my feet and ankles have been swelling up pretty bad. My original calf high cowboy boots don't fit so I bought these ankle high with a zipper slip on hoping to be able to continue wearing boots. They are very comfortable and make it possible to wear since you can decide how high the zipper goes. They fit great now and will only be slightly big if the swelling ever goes down. ... show more

When I pulled them out of the box, I did not like the look of the fabric because it makes them look plasticky and cheap. The Cowboy boot style is not quite defined with this boot., they look wide and like an ordinary boot. I think the heal color and style does not compliment the boot either.
