This table is awesome! I wanted somethi g i could fit my entire family around for thise big holiday dinners and this table does it. When not being used for the holidays, I can still have it set up for daily meals for my small household. It is a rather heavy piece, so make sure you have two people setting it in place, and also doing the extending. Very well made, with all the hardware included, so everything was simplified. Table is definitely worth it if you are on a budget. I paired the table with chairs that match perfectly from Value City Furniture in IL. Putting it together was a bit confusing on a couple of the steps, but if you take it slow, you'll be fine. If you have small kids or larger dogs, would recommend getting corner covers. Table is quite sturdy, but if going to move from one room to another, carry the frame, not table top! Use a cloth to pull because I can see this getting scratched fast. Definitely recommend coasters and placemats. Expansion tucks away under table with no clue it's there. I'm amazed how nice this fit my room and happy so far with the product. ... show more

This table is beautiful. It was so easy to put together by myself, though I did need help to turn it upright without causing any damage. Being extendable makes this table much more functional for varying needs than a standard table. It slides very smoothly to put in the extension piece, and being able to store the piece underneath is very convenient. We love that it's more narrow than many other tables, it fits our space well. The quality seems to be very good, and it has withstood stain tests from kids impressively so far. Would absolutely purchase this again! ... show more

Why 3 stars: Pros: It’s a pretty looking space saving dining table. It has a faux marble finish which makes it look good and contemporary- with a Scandinavian minimalist look. It is also quite stable, once assembled. And it is easier to clean with a gentle wipe - so, easy to clean finish. Till now, we have been gentle with it, so not sure if it is truly scratch resistant but the finish appears to be durable. Moreover, the extension works well and smoothly but you have to be careful while assembling the table. If you make a small mistake, that extension feature may not work perfectly which will frustrate the user. Cons: Not simple to assemble - need at least 2 people who are cross checking the directions and the arch others work. Secondly, even while extended, you cannot seat 8 people. Because the leg support frames come in the way (I have attached a photo from the side to show this). Thirdly, it’s quite narrow - may be around 2.5 ft wide. So, if you have multiple dishes while serving and a few bottles of wine, they will all compete for space. People sitting on the sides facing one another feel a bit too cosy. Four, my particular piece came with a chip in one of the pieces but it was too late in the assembly process and it would have been a chore to return. So, just assembled it with the chipped piece intact - it should not impact structural integrity. (I have included a picture of the chipped piece as well). And finally, very frustratingly, my order came 1 week later than the promised delivery date (during the ordering process) - which is not about the table but its about the commitment to a certain timeline that was not kept. (As a result, I had to host a bunch of people without a dining table). All in all: you get what you pay for. Generally decent. I ordered it in a jiffy, which I probably shouldn’t have (only because I wanted something quick and table didn’t even arrive on time). ... show more

Beautiful table ! It’s a bit thin but it is pretty long so it doesn’t look bad ! Very strong , we literally got on top of the table to change the light bulb and it was really sturdy. It was really easy to put together and it’s good that you can expand it if you want to have 6 chairs or shorten it if you want only 4 ... show more
