I bought this PC because it was advertised as “gaming ready,” and the specs looked decent at first glance, especially with an RX 580 GPU and 16GB of RAM. But after using it for games like RedM, I quickly discovered the biggest problem isn’t the graphics card — it’s the CPU. The CPU is an Intel Celeron G5905 — basically a 2-core / 2-thread office processor, not a gaming chip. For anything moderately demanding (like RedM, GTA, or other modern games), the CPU hits 100% instantly. The game either freezes, stutters, or doesn’t capture mouse input at all even on lowest settings. The system struggles with basic background tasks while gaming. In short: This PC cannot handle modern games unless you upgrade the CPU. What Works Well ✔ The RX 580 GPU is solid and capable of decent gaming performance, ✔ 16GB RAM is good and avoids memory bottlenecks, ✔ Once you fix the CPU, this can become a decent gaming machine. What You’ll Really Need To actually run modern games, you’ll likely need a CPU upgrade — something like: Intel i3-10100 Intel i5-10400 These make a massive difference and turn this into a usable gaming PC. Final Thoughts If you’re buying this as-is for gaming, you will be disappointed. The GPU looks good, but the CPU is too weak to drive it for modern titles.
