🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

These reviews paint a picture of a highly effective gaming PC that performs well even in very demanding conditions, but isn't without its issues. Most users note significantly enhanced gaming experiences, faster load times, and a smoothness that is characteristic of high-end models. However, some issues with booting up and a relatively noisy fan do somewhat mar an otherwise excellent user experience.

Pros

  • 🎮 Effective for VR and high-end games
  • ⚡ Faster game loading times
  • 👌 Handy USB and headphone port placement
  • 🌈 Customizable LED lights
  • 💼 Pre-built, making it convenient for those not keen on building their own PC
  • 🎧 Bluetooth connectivity for hassle-free headphone usage

Cons

  • 👂 Noisy fan operation which can disturb others in the room
  • ⏰ Occasional long boot-up times
  • 🔄 Some cases of system instability requiring reset to factory settings
  • 🔎 Dependency on a remote control to adjust LED lights
  • 😞 Lack of an internal DVD drive

Should I Buy It?

If you're seeking a ready-made, powerful gaming PC, and aren't too bothered by the occasional loud fan or system hiccup, this could very well be a compelling purchase. Even though it has a couple of downsides, its overall gaming performance and array of modern features make it a good option.

  • A great gaming rig!
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
I bought a Cyberpower not too many years ago, but it was time for an upgrade, especially since that computer wasn't able to upgrade to Windows 11... A simple fix, but decided a new computer was in order anyway. I'm not the most "up to date" gamer in existence, I play Counter-Strike GO and Madden 22 and a few new but not AAA games, but the games that I've tried running and cranking up all of the settings left me pretty happy; they all run perfectly well. I'm also pretty into emulation, and I've noticed a considerable upgrade in performance on just about every emulator I've tried: PCSX2, Dolphin, Yuzu, Xemu... I was pretty impressed. Another thing I was surprisingly impressed by is Windows 11. It looks and runs great, and isn't too different from Windows 10, which I've used for a long time now. I really like the UI; it's simple, but looks great. Of course, none of this has much to do with the system itself, but I would legitimately recommend Windows 11. At any rate, it wasn't like the horrible switch from XP to Vista, or Windows 7 to Windows 8. When it comes to goodies, you get a surprisingly high quality keyboard+mouse combo, with the keyboard being exceptionally nice. I doubt that it's anything overly fancy when it comes to the tech inside it, but it feels very satisfying to type on, especially coming fresh off a mechanical keyboard that clicked so loud I swear it was going to drive me to the asylum when I had to type for extended periods of time. You also get a mouse, and while it feels, looks, and works fine, I decided to stick to my vertical mouse that I got about a year or so ago... Seriously, if you're a gamer, you should check one of those out. To my surprise, there was actually a remote to flip through the colors of the fan lights, which is surprising only because the Amazon page here doesn't mention that at all. The fan lights of my old Cyberpower rig got extremely dim over the years, so I plan to just have the lights on occasionally to save them from stress. As far as Cyberpower is as a company, I have nothing but good things to say about them. You'll see some horror stories if you go to Reddit and what not, but both Cyberpower computers I've purchased were shipped perfectly intact, and my last computer still works to this today with minimal upkeep needed throughout the years. The only thing I did in the over 4 years I had it was add some thermal paste to the CPU and general dusting, and it still works perfectly well, so if this new computer chugs along the same way, I'll be more than satisfied. I decided to leave the tech support at 0, and it's not because it's terrible; I just haven't ever had to get in touch with them. Ever. I don't think it would be fair for me to rate it. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this computer and very satisfied with the purchase. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go install a few more games to try... ... show more

  • Great Value - 60fps and bank not broken
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
This PC performs and at least at the price I paid is worth as much or more than the sum of its parts, maybe the best value on the site on any given day. I get 60 fps routinely in highly modded Bethesda games, which can be a surprisingly difficult thing to do, but not for this build. I did update the graphics driver (not surprising) and was then ready to go. Everything arrived exactly as described on the site (purchased March 2022) with nothing missing, nothing broken, and nothing wrong. If you're trying to decide if you want this computer based on the specs that you see on the page then I'll say it is precisely as you see it, no more no less, and performs as you would expect (which is quite well), so you can consider those numbers reliable and set your expectations around them (or so says this one reviewer). I also learned I hate Windows 11 less than I thought I would (my first taste of that operating system is with this machine, it's not a problem). It's also quiet, has a manageable form factor, and is visually appealing (speaking of the RGB Case Lighting, configurable with its remote control). The mouse and keyboard that come with it are serviceable and you probably won't feel repulsed and want to replace them. The backlighting on the keyboard is a bit dim, but how much do you care? All in all I'm happy with this purchase and you likely will be also, if the specs on the page meet your requirements (they probably do). ... show more

  • An amazing upgrade!
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
I had been using a Lenovo H535 that I purchased back in 2014. I had upgraded it to Win 10 Added an SSD Upgraded the video card Added RAM and more... Used mostly for gaming, surfing and tracking personal financing. It really met my needs and I was happy. Then 2021 came. And the PC started randomly rebooting. Whether I was watching a video or in the middle of a fight in WoW. That did not make me happy. So I started searching for a new PC online. Even though I am a gamer I didn't want a PC with all the lights. I was used to plain. The only light I wanted was from the screen and the keyboard. Start over on the search. This time I figured I would let the lights in. My wife was very happy with her CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXIVR8020A5 Desktop Gaming PC (Intel i5-8400 6 Core Processor, AMD RX 580 4GB, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB 7200RPM HDD, WiFi, Win 10 Home 64-bit), Black - VR Ready that we bought in 2018. I knew she was happy, I was used to its look and lights. I could put it under the desk so the lights would not be in my face. But it was no longer available. :( There must be another CyberpowerPC out there for me. Google for suggestions and reviews. And success! I found the CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC, Intel Core i5-11600KF 3.9GHz, 16GB DDR4, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, 500GB NVMe SSD, 1TB HDD, WiFi Ready & Win 11 Home (GXiVR8480A10) Bigger, badder, no mini tower here. Yes, it was about $600 more than the HP Pavilion Gaming PC I tried first. But once I received the go ahead from my wife, as every smart husband does with larger purchases, I ordered it from Amazon. The delivery was early. Nice. Everything packed up safe and secure. Opened it up and set it up with my Deco Gear 35" Curved Ultrawide E-LED WQHD Gaming Monitor, 21:9 Aspect Ratio, Immersive 3440x1440 Resolution, 100Hz Refresh Rate, 3000:1 Contrast Ratio (DGVIEW201) Booted up. And wow, the setup was a breeze. And the speed... amazing. Not only faster than the old Lenovo obviously, but it also blew away the HP Pavilion too. Everything went well. Installed my games, transferred files and data from the old Lenovo. Perfect. Then the PC wouldn't boot right. I was able to work with a flash drive and a friend and got it back to factory settings and started over. That went perfect. Not sure what happened the first time, but this time it stayed. I remembered to create an image for the future. Never an issue again. It plays my games great, the video card works great with the monitor and it's 100Hz refresh rate. So now I am on it daily and use it for a lot more. I can use the Bluetooth for my headphones. No more wires. I can relax and know that I can depend on a PC that will last me for years to come. Oh and the lights? The PC has a remote to control and change the lights. Or to turn them right off entirely. I would definitely recommend this PC to anyone that wants a reasonably priced, clean and fast working PC that will handle all you throw at it and more. The only reason I took a star off was my having to reset to factory. Maybe it was something I did. But it was an easy fix! I do miss having an internal DVD drive, but I know that manufacturers are not putting them in PC's as we have turned into a download and streaming world. My wife took care of that trouble easy enough come Christmas. She was glad to be able to get me something that would make me smile as I watch my DVD and BR collection. An Pioneer BDR-XD07B Portable Burner & DVD Player - 6X Slim External BDXL, BD, DVD & CD Drive for Windows & Mac w/ 3.0 USB - CD Player -Write & Read on Laptop or Desktop w/Carry Case (Black) And we can both use it whenever we like with either CyberpowerPC we want! ... show more

  • This is a GREAT Gaming PC for the PRICE$$$$$.
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
I got this PC specifically for gaming, and it works great for gaming alone but also as a school computer for distance learning obviously. The build is very high-end, RTX graphics cards are always amazing. Runs games at max graphics settings high fps ranging 140-400 depending on the game. The price is very fair for the quality you get. The only problem i have found with this PC has been that it defaults to windows 11, but that's not the fault of the PC itself, it's just windows 11 is not very good for gaming. But a windows 10 downgrade is very simple and easy to perform, so it's not a problem. ... show more

  • Couldn't Be Happier Couldn't Be Happier
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
After days of struggling to buy a new prebuilt on Amazon (issues on my end, splitting payments on my CC's, nothing to do with Amazon etc.), losing 2 PC's I had in my cart because of price increases overnight, I finally settled on the Cyberpower with i5, 3060 etc. My only worry was a lot of the reviews said the CPU cooler was not enough and you'd need a new one, I even researched it and sure enough, you need a decent cooler for an i5kf series. Not the end of the world, just hoped maybe id be fine. Long story short I needn't have worried. This review is actually for my prebuilt which came with a 12th Gen i7 Intel Core i7-12700KF, with a CyberPower Liquid Cooler for the CPU. Still got the RTX 3060, still got 2 8GB 3200 Ram sticks, I had to turn on XMP Profile which was easy peasy, Google if your not sure what that means. Got the 500GB SSD with Win 11 which I was also worried about, turns out Win 11 is fine and barely takes up any space on the boot SSD. Also, Thank you CyberpPower for NO BLOATWARE of any kind on this machine. So nice to get a pre-built with just the bare essentials, no garbage anywhere. Also got 2TB of HDD for storage instead of 1GB, will go great with my external SSDs. So yeah, I have no complaints with this pre-built. Got more than I asked for and finally had something go my way lol. I will certainly recommend CyberPower to my friends looking for good-quality pre-builts. ... show more

  • This experience made me write my first review in years
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
This is my first review in over 3 years. I always take any issues or losses on the chin. However, this was honestly a horrible experience and I want to share my story so that the next person will be aware. TL;DR 1) You're going to overheat and this PC will crash playing any game. It could literally be Minecraft on all low settings. I'm serious. 2) The seller does not care. 3) If you threw out the box but ending up needing to return the PC due to the defect that it came with, they are going to charge you. 4) The seller is extremely unprofessional and rude. If you're willing to spend over $1K on this machine, then turn around and spend more money to fix their scam of a CPU "cooler", while also avoiding having to ever communicate with the seller, then roll the dice on buying this. However, I highly suggest you take the time to read my review. I'm writing this to help you as much as I can so that you won't end up like me. First, this pc arrived in a bright orange Cyberpower box that clearly showed what was in it. Normally if something is going to arrive in packaging that reveals what it is, Amazon will provide an option to put it in a regular box. I don't know if this misstep was on Amazon or the seller, but it definitely was a surprising sight to see. If you live in an area where someone may take your package, you need to be ready to bring the box in your house ASAP. Not to mention, the seller added a signature request on this item. Well, the carrier dropped it off and added my name on the signature even though I literally did not sign for it. So, this already had a frustrating beginning, but I wasn't blaming the seller yet. Set up the PC, and as most of you probably are expecting to do, I downloaded a few games to test them out. I was so excited! The specs seemed amazing, and I was ready to try out some games. This was a $1400 gaming pc after all. First I tried Apex Legends on high settings. The PC overheated and crashed. Completely crashed. Tried again on low settings. Overheated, and the game crashed. Tried Minecraft on high and low settings. Yep. Crashed. I used a CPU monitoring program and literally watched all cores go up to 100 degrees Celsius. Then I'd be staring at a black screen again. This was a $1400 PC. And it was my first day using it. By the way, it IDLES at 60+ degrees! Anyway, I played these games on medium settings on my eight year old pc with no problems...and never going above 58 degrees Celsius. Hmm. How do you build and market a machine as being a "Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC" that can handle ray-tracing when you actually can't. play. games. on. it? In fact, you better be careful watching a YouTube video in your browser because you're already going to be at 70 degrees. I WISH I was joking. So, I reached out to the seller and left a detailed message about the issue I was having, along with asking if I could return it if I bought (out of my own pocket, after already purchasing a $1400 PC...) a CPU cooler and the defect persisted. Their response was one line. Didn't greet me, didn't address the issue, didn't apologize, nothing. I worked in customer service for years, so you can imagine my shock with how horribly underwhelming and unprofessional their response was. I thought it over for a few days, trying to decide if I wanted to deal with a barely functioning $1400 "gaming" pc AND poor customer service. I ended up deciding I wanted to just send them their product back and be free of this experience. Only one problem... I didn't have the original box anymore. I figured I'd just message them asking if they could send me the packaging, or if I could go buy my own proper packaging for it so that I could complete this return. I was still well within the return timeframe. This time I was greeted with a "Dear Customer" and was told no, and that they were going to charge me a restocking fee. The audacity was astounding. I would pay a restocking fee to give your product back to you in the same exact (defective) condition I received it? Just because it would be in a brown box and not your orange box? Well. At this point I felt scammed. Computer didn't work. Horrible customer service. Pay them to give their product back. Or pay (again) to get a different CPU cooler than the one that this company installed. I was so disgusted with this experience, I bit the bullet and came out of pocket to purchase an actual cooler. Then I paid (again) for a professional to do the swap, because God forbid I messed something up during the process and end up in an even worse situation than I was already in. If you are getting this computer, understand that you are going to open your wallet up again to fix this huge oversight (or rather, a purposeful decision on behalf of Cyberpower so they can take a lot of your money while saving theirs). Also understand that this seller is literally of no use. They must be getting hundreds of messages like mine so they stopped caring, or they are severely under-trained. Either way, they are clearly happy making bank off us while we deal with the stress. The excitement I felt when unboxing this, ready for my first PC upgrade in eight years, ready to play my favorite games with friends, ready to finally play something on decent graphic settings without lag- all that excitement quickly turned into frustration and regret. I still can't believe this happened. The reviews about the cooler are real. It will happen to you. I just can't believe this was so bad that I have to waste my time writing this review. But I hope this helps the next potential buyer know what to expect. ... show more

  • Best Bang for Your Buck!!!!
Style: i5-11600KF | RTX 3060
This was the first ever good gaming PC I've ever purchased, and I would like to say that CyberPower has really set the standard for what a good prebuilt is, if not what a good gaming pc is at least. I've been using this computer for at least 2-3 months and I can say I have not found any issues for it at ALL. Every game I play is also at least above 60 fps, and I have never experienced any issues with frame rates or game play at ALL. Right now I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 3, and I am so happy I've been able to run the game at it's maximum settings with no issues at ALL. While this PC is good, it's also a great bang for your buck. Especially due to the rise of prices within the graphics card market, and the fact you're able to get a good PC for the price of the the same card that's attached is INSANE. I am grateful to have got this PC when I did and I will forever be grateful Cyber Power was able to set the the standard for a good PC. ... show more

Honestly, this was my first gaming PC and i Have to say after a couple years it has been going strong. Setup was a breeze and I have been using it to teach myself all there is to know about computers and also game. Escape from tarkov is a very game on systems and this little beast runs in at 120 FPS high settings, max distance. And as a bench ultra setting on Fortnite and was at 170. 3060 surprises me more and more. It does get hot at times and I suggest get an RBG Controller bc the fans are annoying but always willing to help if you need anything. Really Really happy with this PC ... show more
