The pole is so thin looking and the lamp top is not very wide at all. this lamp takes away from the decor look in my living room. But I will keep it. I am replacing a 150W halogen lamp with this LED lamp. I was concerned that this lamp wouldn't be sufficiently bright to adequately illuminate my living area. I've attached two pictures for comparison. The first image shows the illumination with only the Bricosmocon LED lamp turned on (using the max brightness setting), and the second shows the illumination with both lamp on. Yes, the 150W lamp is a bit brighter, but the Bricosmocon LED lamp does indeed meet my needs. Also, I'm very impressed by the remote. ... show more
