Lamp is easy to put together. It comes with a remote which I wasn’t sure if I was really going to use it but my mom loves the remote. Lamp is quite bright on its highest setting which for a led lamp is unusual. The led lamp it replaced just never got bright enough.

I do love this lamp and it most certainly could be a five-star lamp. Two problems prevent it from being a five star lamp. The remote is unreliable. Sometimes it will work sufficiently to turn it on after multiple attempts, and sometimes it will work sufficiently to turn it off after multiple attempts. Regarding the ability to dim and to add warmth or coolness to the light, that also is unreliable. I've had this light for almost 4 months and it is my main source of light in a small efficiency apartment. If my living situation was different, I would have returned it. But as it is, with a lot of effort I can get the light to turn on and with some effort I can get the light to turn off. It just isn't worth the hassle of returning it to me. ... show more
