I’ve been using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Wireless Multi-Platform Gaming Headset with my PS5 and have been really impressed so far. Setup was quick and easy, and I had everything connected and working within minutes. The sound quality is excellent. Game audio comes through clear and balanced, and it has been great for both gameplay and chat. The microphone also works really well because friends have said my voice comes through clear without sounding muffled or distorted. One thing I really appreciate is the comfort. Even during longer gaming sessions, the headset stays comfortable and doesn’t start bothering my ears or head after a while. Battery life has also been great. I’m not constantly worrying about charging it, which is a huge plus for wireless gaming headsets. Switched from Turtle Beach Stealths and the improvement is fantastic! My biggest issue with the turtle beaches was they would take forever to connect to my ps5, sometimes not work at all, and drop connection randomly. They also sounded pretty bad compared to these steelseries. The steelseries connects so fast and consistently it's a breath of fresh air. And connect to Bluetooth on my phone without any issues. It's great taking calls and using spotify while playing games with the boys. They do really sound great and are very loud (and I still have the volume limiter on in the GG app). I did EQing in the app as well which really helped them sound great. Here's my favorite EQ settings for immersive sound after experimenting: 32 (3.5), 65 (5.5), 125 (4), 250 (1.5), 500 (0.5), 1k (0), 2k (0.5), 4k (2), 8k (1.5), 16k (0) I also like the mic more than I thought I would since that was the one thing really good on the turtle beaches. But it has great sidetone and my friends say I actually sound better so can't complain. Fits well, definitely looser than the TBs but that also means more comfortable. And I have a small head but they stay on without issue. Highly recommend these! ... show more

Love these headphones, charge super fast and last hours. I usually charge them once a week. Sound quality is awesome. And their very comfortable to wear and im bald. My wife got me these for my birthday so she didn't have to hear me play battlefield on my ps5.

    • Enjoying - great headphones - few downsides
Great headphones. Work well and pretty sturdy. First time I have bought wireless headphones and I like the freedom (you can put your controller down and go check on your Hot Pocket while leaving the headphones/chat on your head). These SteelSeries seem very durable and made well. There are some options that my old Kraken/Razer ones had that I wish these did... but I am very happy with my purchase so far (been using them for almost half a year and they are doing fine) They only work if the receiver is plugged into a port - so be aware in case you can't spare a port. The few minor gripes I have is: -I wish they would go louder! (to be fair - I am slightly hearing impaired so wish VERYTHING would be louder). But still... these headphones could go a bit louder. -I wish there were more EQ options - and, at least, options for settings between the chat audio and game audio (but, see above...). There is a dial to increase or decrease chat... but it doesn't seem to do much and, in my case, I would rather turn the game audio down a bit so I can hear the chat better (sometimes the game audio is very overbearing). -If you get the white ones... watch out. My ear pads were stained dirty from just a few times using. I wish the white model (which looks 'cooler' I think...) had blue or black ear pads - or even ability to buy replacements. ... show more

I came from a wired HyperX Cloud III which had issues with the cable and eventually with the microphone as other players were able to hear my game through the mic (despite me changing many settings). After a LOT of research I ended up buying these and do not regret at all. Not only are they really comfortable, but they are also really good quality. I have had no issues at all with the microphone and appreciate all the buttons to mute and change the volume of the headset. If you’re looking for a good budget headset get this one ... show more

I got these on sale, but after years of using a wired headset, I finally made the switch to wireless. These are awesome, full stop. I play on PS5 and the sound quality is incredible. I don’t notice any lag or latency issues though i sit pretty close to my ps5 (within 10 feet.) but even from the other side of my apartment, they work perfectly and I don’t notice any issues. Being able to bluetooth into my phone at the same time as my ps5 is nice when I’m watching sports or on the phone (the mic works for phone calls). Wholly recommend ... show more

Super comfortable for long periods of time! breathable pads, that don’t create a uncomfortable suction on the ear. Also battery life is pretty good last me about two days until needs to be changed again I have had for about year and a half no issues

    • Doesnt Work half the time
Not sure if I got a bad headset, but getting this thing to work properly is a pain. When it works, the sound is pretty good, though the steel series application is a painful thing to use. For PC it will load 4 different sound outputs, one for Game, Chat, Unassigned, and Microphone (no idea why they need a sound output for mic, but who knows). Next the part my headset struggles with is providing sound. Randomly, I will turn the headset on and it will provide no sound. Usually that's no big deal, just power off and back on. However, the issue with this headset is that I can't power it down. No matter how many times I try to power off using the buttons, it won't force itself off. The only fix I currently have is to take off the earpiece, and get a needle to do a full factory reset. ... show more
