Switched from Turtle Beach Stealths and the improvement is fantastic! My biggest issue with the turtle beaches was they would take forever to connect to my ps5, sometimes not work at all, and drop connection randomly. They also sounded pretty bad compared to these steelseries. The steelseries connects so fast and consistently it's a breath of fresh air. And connect to Bluetooth on my phone without any issues. It's great taking calls and using spotify while playing games with the boys. They do really sound great and are very loud (and I still have the volume limiter on in the GG app). I did EQing in the app as well which really helped them sound great. Here's my favorite EQ settings for immersive sound after experimenting: 32 (3.5), 65 (5.5), 125 (4), 250 (1.5), 500 (0.5), 1k (0), 2k (0.5), 4k (2), 8k (1.5), 16k (0) I also like the mic more than I thought I would since that was the one thing really good on the turtle beaches. But it has great sidetone and my friends say I actually sound better so can't complain. Fits well, definitely looser than the TBs but that also means more comfortable. And I have a small head but they stay on without issue. Highly recommend these! ... show more

Bluetooth a little hard to figure out. But if you use the usb-c and connect the dongle. It auto connects every time. Great bass, excellent sound, really hear the atmosphere when gaming, actually immersed in the game instead of outside noise. My daughter try’s to talk to me and I can’t even hear her. I gotta check and see if her lips are moving. Might not be noise canceling but they are definitely close to it. Great overall, head/ears don’t get hot or sweat during long sessions. My turtle beach wireless gaming headset broke, the mic snapping off, so I was in the market for an upgrade. Using chatgpt to compare my currently headset, I chose this one for comfort & durability, align with sound quality. I did not think I would even use the Bluetooth feature to be able to listen to my phone in my headset while playing PS5 but I actually use that every day now! I listen to audio books or music while casually gaming. I havent tried taking a phonecall with the headset on & didnt read the manual so idk if that is possible but it would be neat. What I love most about this headset tho is it is SOOO COMFORTABLE. I wear glasses and game for hours at a time & this feels like a cloud over my ears. Theres like an elastic type band that is adjustable that prevents the hard headband of the headset from ever even touching your head and the ear pads are so plush & soft. I'll never try another brand, I'm so in love with it. From what I understand, when you turn it in the color of the light around the power button indicates the battery status as well. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the mic picking up all that background noise. I love the headphone quality and it's a comfortable set. The sound quality of games is decent but the mic is too sensitive in picking up background noise but for spatial sound and single player games I recommend this Steelseries but for competitive online gaming, other options can be more beneficial. ... show more

This is the first Steel Series product I’ve ever owned and I’m very pleased. It works GREAT and it sounds amazing. Probably the best sounding “gaming headset” I’ve ever heard. I really like how it will work on my Xbox, PS5 and iPhone. I will say it sounds good right out of the box but I would highly recommend downloading the app on mobile or PC and tuning it. Update: After finding little to no information from the SteelSeries to resolve my issue I found a detailed Youtuber who posted a video on how to factory reset the headset, after reset i was FINALLY able to pair the headset however theres a pending firmware update that keeps failing 🙄 all in all the headset is "Just ok" IMO, still returning. I rarely write reviews, but after owning this headset for just over two hours (and waiting nine days for delivery), I’m extremely disappointed. The headset will not pair via Bluetooth with my phone, which means I can’t connect to the app to set up sound profiles. The included paperwork and instructions are terrible and completely unhelpful. After searching online for solutions, I found countless complaints about the same issue on Reddit going back years. While it does connect to my PS5, the sound quality is awful. I’m replacing a six-year-old Razer headset, and straight out of the box back then, it sounded a thousand times better than this brand-new one. Huge mistake wasting my time and money on this brand.
