Switched from Turtle Beach Stealths and the improvement is fantastic! My biggest issue with the turtle beaches was they would take forever to connect to my ps5, sometimes not work at all, and drop connection randomly. They also sounded pretty bad compared to these steelseries. The steelseries connects so fast and consistently it's a breath of fresh air. And connect to Bluetooth on my phone without any issues. It's great taking calls and using spotify while playing games with the boys. They do really sound great and are very loud (and I still have the volume limiter on in the GG app). I did EQing in the app as well which really helped them sound great. Here's my favorite EQ settings for immersive sound after experimenting: 32 (3.5), 65 (5.5), 125 (4), 250 (1.5), 500 (0.5), 1k (0), 2k (0.5), 4k (2), 8k (1.5), 16k (0) I also like the mic more than I thought I would since that was the one thing really good on the turtle beaches. But it has great sidetone and my friends say I actually sound better so can't complain. Fits well, definitely looser than the TBs but that also means more comfortable. And I have a small head but they stay on without issue. Highly recommend these! ... show more

    • Good headset, horribly shaped dongle, and don't forget to turn the Bluetooth off!
So the sound quality on this headset is amazing and sounds great. It ends there. First off the dongle is shaped absolutely horribly. Most gamers prefer to plug things into the back of their PC to avoid the clutter. Well this dongle just wont allow this because if you plug this into your motherboard it will almost always block something else you are probably using. Now, lets get into the Bluetooth. It works great, but whenever you turn off your headset, it doesn't turn off the Bluetooth. You have to turn that off separately, which to me is more steps I don't want to take when I have "powered down" my headset. I love the technology that has been emplaced with this headset, it needs to be applied better. ... show more

I was using the previous steel series headset that had a micro usb charging port and wanted an upgrade so my husband bought these for Christmas. I cannot describe how much better they are. The ability to use Bluetooth and the usb-c dongle at the same time is so convenient and I love it. They are comfortable as well, same as the previous set, but was happy the transition was so easy. Mic is great on these and I have yet to have any issues. Battery life is amazing compared to my previous set and lasts so long and charging is easy and can be done while using them. Volume is all good, haven’t had a problem with steel series on that so far. As well as clarity is great, which again is the same as my previous set. Pros 1. Honestly. I was pretty scared to get wireless in general cause I hadn’t had good experience b but took the chance with these because you still have the option to use the “aux” jack. Last time I used Bluetooth headphones I got a slight lag but enough to be noticeable. As of right now… zero issues. 2. Simultaneous function .. need I say more ? 3. Design is simple but still nice. 4. If you want to be aware of your surrounding noise or not .. you can change that with a side button on the headphones (how much you want to let in or not). Cons I’d say it doesn’t compare to other headphones in terms of battery life but you should still get minimum a day out of it and 15 mins charge gives you like 6 hours. 2. Audio is.. not bad but not great but I also haven’t messed with the app equalizer yet so take that with a grain of salt. This is my 5th headset I’ve bought. And I’m finally happy to say I won’t be returning these. Worth the price. I tried a Bluetooth adapter for my wh-1000xm5’s .. (got a lag) Cheap GameStop $20 headphones… like I said. Cheap. Then $50 wireless but aux too.. sounded horrible and cheap A vmoda boom mic for Sony headphones … (actually didn’t even try this out) just returned. And now these :) ... show more

    • Doesnt Work half the time
Not sure if I got a bad headset, but getting this thing to work properly is a pain. When it works, the sound is pretty good, though the steel series application is a painful thing to use. For PC it will load 4 different sound outputs, one for Game, Chat, Unassigned, and Microphone (no idea why they need a sound output for mic, but who knows). Next the part my headset struggles with is providing sound. Randomly, I will turn the headset on and it will provide no sound. Usually that's no big deal, just power off and back on. However, the issue with this headset is that I can't power it down. No matter how many times I try to power off using the buttons, it won't force itself off. The only fix I currently have is to take off the earpiece, and get a needle to do a full factory reset. ... show more
