🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The racing chair in question is widely praised for its sturdy construction, ease of access, and customizability, accommodating various player sizes. It is highly recommended for those looking for a foldable and space-efficient setup without sacrificing quality in their sim racing experience. However, there are some noted concerns regarding the fit of certain accessories like the Logitech shifter, and the complexity of the folding process. Additionally, the lack of wire management solutions and limited comfort over long play sessions were mentioned by some reviewers.

Pros

  • 🏁 Sturdy and stable, with no wobble during intense gameplay
  • 🛠️ Fairly customizable to suit different player sizes
  • 👍 Easy to access and comfortable for short sessions
  • 🔄 Foldable design makes for a space-saving solution

Cons

  • ⚙️ Some accessories like the Logitech shifter may not fit perfectly
  • 🔧 Folding process can be more complicated than advertised
  • 🔋 Wire management is lacking, requiring additional fixes
  • 👾 Long play sessions may lead to discomfort without extra cushions

Should I Buy It?

If you're tight on space and need a compact racing sim setup, this chair offers a solid foundation with some quality-of-life improvements to consider. For those who prioritize a space-efficient, stable, and easily accessible racing chair and are willing to navigate some minor inconveniences, this product comes highly recommended. However, for individuals taller than 6 feet, or those planning to use particular accessories like the Logitech shifter, additional modifications might be necessary for the ideal fit and comfort.

  • Great budget sim racer!
Edition: GT Lite
This setup is great for anybody who wants to get a little more serious with sim racing, I have probably about 100 hours in the seat with multiple games and I don’t have many complaints! I’m 6 feet tall and it is slightly cramped for my legs even on the farthest settings but it never gets uncomfortable. This thing is great build quality and I haven’t noticed much flexing besides forwards and backwards if you’re to pull or push on the wheel with some force but nothing left to right. I’d like to see some backrest adjustability as it’s a little too far leaned back for my taste but my fix is putting a pillow between me and the chair and it brings me to the perfect level of lean. There are no cushions so your butt will get a little sore during long sessions but for the price point it’s definitely something I wouldn’t be concerned over. The folding aspect could be better if you keep your wheel mounted but it’s better than not being able to fold it up. I would have also liked an extension on the shifter plate for a hand brake but if you’re creative you can make it work with some heavy duty zipties LOL. All around a great racing sim for the price and Id definitely recommend to ANYBODY looking to get more serious about sim racing! Hope this helps somebody make a decision! :) ... show more

  • Very Decent Racing Rig
Edition: GT Lite
My very first rig; delivered earlier than expected; no damages and no missing parts from the package, extra fittings provided for mounting the wheel, pedals and shifter; straightforward assembly as long as you know how to follow instructions; very sturdy and leveled, no wobbles during gameplay; the steering wheel mounting bracket actually swings out to the left for entry into the cockpit, which I think is pretty cool; a world of difference from using a controller when playing Gran Turismo Sport & 7. There's quite a few rigs out there to choose from, but I'm really glad I chose this one - not too expensive and doesn't seem to be cheaply made either. I highly recommend this to those of you who are seeking a decent rig. Just a few things to be aware of: The seat isn't designed to be comfortable especially after a few hours of gaming. Use pillows or seat cushions to remedy this, or you can get up and do some house chores before getting back in there again. Make sure that everything is tightened just enough and locked in before getting in the cockpit, pay close attention to details on the instruction booklet. If you have cats or dogs...well, you'll find out ;) ... show more

  • Great for the price, just know that sacrifices were made to keep the price low
Edition: GT Lite
This is a really hard review to write because this product has given me so much joy, but I wish I spent more money to get something that's easier to adjust. If/when I do get something better, I'm going with this brand. I have no issues with the quality. This is a great product for the price you pay. It leaves you wanting more, and I think that's a good thing. I'm 6'2" and I sit pretty comfortably. When my kids go to play I have to go through a pretty long process to make changes. The problem is that there are a lot of screws to turn. I feel like it would be better to have the pin devices like you see on machines at the gym, but the point of this cockpit is that it's cheap, and screws save money. One other thing is that the seat is at a reline that is comfortable but I want to sit up more straight. There are a few things to try like raising the back and lowering the front, but ultimately I had to put a pillow behind my back. Again, this is the bargain cockpit and this a way to keep costs low. If there is only going to be one person using this and you're trying to save money, this is the perfect choice. I successfully share this with people much shorter than me and it works, just know that adjustments will take a few minutes. This folds up pretty nicely, but it takes a long time to go both directions. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised at quality of this chair
Edition: GT Lite
I was not expecting it to be this sturdy . I am a smaller guy but still very strong long lasting construction. Was a little worried at some of reviews saying pieces wouldn’t fit right. Mine went together perfectly. Some pieces were a little work but that’s so they fit right and won’t wobble later after years of use . I love the ability to swing wheel over and hop out anytime. Folds up nice too. Exactly what I was looking for! ... show more
