Make sure whomever is going to be using them reads the instructions. First I get told by my 16yr old that the PS4 isnt detecting the microphone. So marked it for return and ordered a different pair. Two hours later he comes in "nevermind, it works, there was a switch on the back" *eyeroll* guess I now have a backup headset for myself as the 2nd pair I'd ordered was same as I use, by the time he figured it out had already charged and in transit.. he said it works awesome now. Currently playing with his buddies on fortnite

Love the headphones. Since I play with friends the xbox app just wasn't cutting it. Great sound quality. Design is really nice. Really easy to setup. The connectivity works well. Compatibility works on xbox and Playstation.

These headphones man, they're something else, they're like the cockroaches of the headphones market in the sense that they just do not die, I've had these since the launch of xbox one, I played destiny 1 on launch with these, I bought these in high-school and I'm 27 now and they still work, a little finicky at times, but that's expected with a pair of headphones this old, I don't care much for mic quality, only durability and these hold up to the test of time, the only reason I'm upgrading to a different headset is because the ear cups have finally started to peel and fall apart, so these are being retired and put on the shelf as a backup pair, hopefully my new ones hold up just as well as these have. Also to turtle beach, I'm pissed that you discontinued the stealth pro, completely ruined my day finding that out and I actually cancelled my order over it, discontinuing support on your flagship headset is the worst marketing idea in my opinion, I found out when I went to purchase extra batteries for it as insurance, I really wanted to stick with turtle beach, but due to turtle beach discontinuing support on a headset that expensive, they have lost me as a customer. But the recon 50x is 1000% worth the money, oll say that much.

jeez is it possible to get a set with a smaller cable because this one is not small enough / i want to be able to not move my head when its plugged in... Sound is great tho/ just need a longer cable to use it with a computer. Its best to get an aux extender with this one.
