  • High quality, very stable, great value for price High quality, very stable, great value for price
This is a very good quality rig. The price is great for the quality you are getting. The seller shipped it in 4 separate packages due to the weight and immediately message me to let me know that with tracking information for each package. It arrived earlier than scheduled. Assembly was a little time consuming but not difficult. The instructions were clear. They included a huge amount of extra nuts, bolts, fasteners, etc. The included anti scuff floor pads to put on the bottom. They included a lot of various cable management ties and fasteners. I have used this for 4 days now and I am very impressed with the stability. It is very sturdy and I am a heavy guy, 6’2 300lbs. My issue has always been quality and finding a product to hold up. The chair is very comfortable. It is easy to set in and race for several hours. My only issue, and it is a small issue is the adjustment. The available adjustments are great. You can move almost everything to suit your style of play. The issue I have is with how it adjust. Especially the pedal plate. It’s is very hard to love even when the bolts are completely loose. This is a small issue because once you get it suited to your needs you don’t need to move it any more. Overall this is a great product, very good quality and wonderful value for the money. ... show more

  • This has to be the best sim rig for its price point…
Let me start off by saying these people really care about the customers. They made it a point to message me shortly after it shipped with additional tips and instructions for assembly. When I found out the actual seat was defective (you could literally use any seat you want to, btw), they offered me several reasonable options to make it right, and when I came up with a solution, they didn’t even hesitate to take care of me. They’re an excellent company, and I wish all racing sim companies were this attentive. Chinese, Japanese, American, whatever…good is good across all cultures. With that being said, this is an excellent rig, and probably the best you’re going to get in this price range. The entire cockpit is made up of 4080 aluminum pieces, and is designed in such a way that anyone can add on, modify, or adjust whatever you want. Want an F1 set up? No problem, loosen some bolts, and move pieces around. Want a passenger car/GT set up? What about a flight sim arrangement? All covered. Any wheel, yoke, shifter, handbrake, pedals, anything will bolt right up, and will be easy to add on to if need be in the future. There is zero flex here, even with triple 32” monitors. It’ll be built as well as you build it, and that’s all you can really ask for. They’ve included a metric tape measure, and almost enough extra hardware to build an extra one (minus the aluminum pieces, of course). The only cons I can think of are considering how versatile it is (being built out of dozens of aluminum extrusion pieces and all), it’s a bit overwhelming to set up. It comes in 4 boxes, and a book on how it comes together. Some instructions are more like suggestions, and you kinda need to use your head a bit. Some adjustments can be confusing, as well, and labor intensive, so keep that in mind. Over all, it’s a no brainer for me. Anything remotely close to this rig ends up being wayyyyy up in the $1,000+ range, and might come with even less. 5/5 Stars, would recommend to anyone who does any kind of sim racing, flight sims, or trucking sims. ... show more

  • Solid, great value, with only a couple minor drawbacks Solid, great value, with only a couple minor drawbacks
This is a solid and highly adjustable rig. It took about five hours to set up by myself but it's not hard, just time consuming. Almost everything bolts down very tightly and will not move or shake. The one exception is the 3-monitor upright bars. They never move during game play, but they can rocked a little front to back if you touch them with force. Adding a bar that connects the monitor stand to the wheel stand would have added a bit more stability, not that it's really needed. I used the bar that the shifter plate goes on to connect to both the wheel stand and also the monitor stand so they are connected and it provides more stability to the monitor stand. I just had to move the monitors closer than the instructions call for, but this was what I wanted anyway for better immersion. Now the monitors are about 26" from my eyes. I use a Fanatec 8nm dd wheel base and the rig does not move whatsoever. Likewise, I use the load cell break pedal and that's rock solid as well. At 6 foot, 205, athletic build, the chair is surprisingly comfortable even with a bad back, albeit cheap fabric. I'll eventually upgrade to a chair from a wrecked vehicle, but this will be fine for now. I can easily recommend this to anyone wanting to get into sim racing. The only drawbacks are that, because so many pieces are interconnected, it means you have to loosen a lot of bolts to adjust just about anything. Also, it does not come with a keyboard and mouse stand. I'm still figuring out what to do on that front. Lastly, the monitor arms were not totally level so i had to play with the monitor mount bolts more than I'd want to get them level. Getting the triple monitors to be perfectly symmetrical is a bit of work due to the fact that there are multiple points that the monitor arms can pivot on. Additionally, the side monitors tend to slope downwards a very small amount despite my best efforts to get them completely level. You can't notice during gameplay. Aside from those flaws, it's very good for the money and I don't anticipate the need to upgrade any time soon if ever. ... show more

  • Excellent Sim Racing Cockpit Excellent Sim Racing Cockpit
Incredibly sturdy cockpit. The seat is probably the weak point. There is a little flex, but it’s very solid. It came together in about 3 hours. Although you tighten everything, you may have to go back through and tighten again at the end. This handles my 6’, 240lb frame without issue. I can press as hard as I want on the pedals without flex. There is no budge in the Simagic Evo Sport (9nm). There is a good amount of fiddling to get everything together, but nothing insane. I would buy again in a heart beat. ... show more

  • Incredible bang for buck - worth taking the chance on
I wavered for quite a bit between this unit and something from a more "well-known" sim rig brand. Ended up going with the trio -- seat, rig, monitor stand -- and to be honest, I'm really happy I did. I picked it up a few weeks ago, and intentionally waited until I got quite a few hours on iRacing before leaving a review, as I wanted my take to be as informed as possible. I built it myself over the course of an afternoon, which was possible although it would have been nice to have another pair of hands for some of the more cumbersome steps in the process. Entirely doable on your own, though. The instructions were easy to follow, the packaging was top notch, the hardware was plentiful (which was nice, since it allowed me to make a few mods, i.e. inverted pedals), and the customer support was great. I'm using it with a Moza R5 and single monitor for now, however plan on upgrading on both fronts in the future and am confident this rig can handle it. Everything is sturdy, well thought out, and a killer value. I'm a big guy (6'6, 220) and the seat works. It's not Sparco or OMP caliber, but I wasn't expecting it to be and it's great for the time being. If anyone is reading this is on the fence, do it. Fairly confident you'll also be happy with the outcome. ... show more

  • Incredible value
Value: The value here is truly amazing. After realizing most aluminum profile rigs were $800+ (and usually didn’t include monitor stands or bucket seat), I looked into DIY’ing a rig with 8020. But when I priced it out, it wasn’t quite as cheap as I thought it would be. I got this bundle for $600. A solid rig, triple monitor stands, and a bucket seat - just can’t be beat. Assembly: This is no trivial task. It took me several hours and a lot of patience. I saved probably an hour by using an electric screwdriver to carefully tighten the bolts. The instructions were pretty clear. I will note that the placement of some parts is just a suggestion. For example, I ended up needing to slide the vertical monitor mounts way closer to the wheel base than the instructions showed. So just keep that in mind when putting it all together. Comfort: The seat is as comfortable as I would expect from a bucket seat. I was concerned about breathability of the seat, so I’m glad I went with the black fabric seat vs the red faux leather option. I needed to make small adjustments to the positioning of certain parts like the mounting of the seat to the base (I slide it all closer to the wheel base) and the angle of the pedals. But once it’s all locked in, it really feels great. TLDR - when assembled correctly, this sim rig is solidly built and an excellent value. I would highly recommend this product! ... show more

  • Cheap and sturdy
Takes a while to set up, but if you have the time and basic knowledge, you should be good. The ability to move everything where you want it is nice. Instructions weren't the best, but easy enough to follow to get a basic understanding of what goes where. Very sturdy and cheap for how much you get.
