    • Dont get the headrest and beware of a very COMMON issue...

The headrest is really bad. Like they should have never added it as an option bad. You can move it up and down like 3 inches and that's it. It cant be moved out of the way and you void the warranty if you go through the incredibly long process of taking the entire back of the chair apart to remove it. When you lean back it is always in the way and forces your chin into your chest. Now the chair itself has a flaw that is apparently common. The back is made to flex as you move, however, often the left side is not formed the same as the right side. The chair I got had a twist in the back so the part where your right shoulder touches it about an inch and a half farther back than where your left shoulder touches. This causes your back to twist as you lean back. This is worse on some chairs and not existent on others. Its literally a gamble says a used furniture store I spoke with. They have seen it a lot. This is a TWELVE HUNDRED dollar ergonomic chair. The plastic back should not be twisted. End of story. It twists my back so much I can feel it for a long time after standing up. So stupid. (Steelcase says this is all within their spec. WTF) ... show more
