  • Requires slouching. Limited arm motion. Shallow seat depth.
Color: Ebony Leather Size: High Height Range (17" - 22.5")
Short story: high quality build & materials. not nearly as flexible or as comfortable as expected--especially for $2,400 Long story: - this chair has an aggressive forward tilt to it that requires you to press back and really sit back into it in order to not fall forward. it feels like a chore. I had a similar experience with an $80 gaming chair. I figured for an extra $2,300, something like that would have been thought through more thoroughly. - this may be the "most adjustable" chair on the market, but as far as the arms are concerned, they don't fully open outward. I expected a wider open radius. - the arms tilt back as you lean. this would be great if my desk tilted also. but it doesn't... - hard arm wrests. not a big deal for me, but feels like a step backward compared to my old model that's probably 8 years old at this point. - weird wedge shapes on the arm wrests. I don't understand this design decision and never found it useful. more awkward than anything, but what do I know - leather: after a week of use the leather on the seat is sort of floppy/depressed. I guess it's typical for leather, but I'd go with fabric if you're on the fence. (unless appearances are big for you. looks fine. not worth the price.) - if you're a "micro adjustment" kinda guy or gal, the back rest on this one isn't like that. There are 4 pre-configured stop points. no matter what I do, the back rest is either too firm, requiring me to really push back into it, or too floppy, where I just fall back all the way. - re-emphasis: this thing REQUIRES that you slouch. that's the best way I can say it. And with slouching comes tilted arm wrests, which comes with an awkward angle where your wrist is bent to use the mouse. ------ benefit of the doubt: I've been really uncomfortable for a long time with most office chairs. the herman miller embody (also really expensive) produced similar results for me. I'm not crazy tall, but my arms are long and my legs are long. I don't think many of these chairs consider people with a long distance from tailbone to kneecaps. As I sit here, there are 8+ inches between the back of my knees and the front of the chair. and this is with the seatpan fully extended. conclusion: maybe this chair is great for most people, but if you have "long" features that aren't average, you're probably going to dislike it as much as I do. return status: incoming. I think. I'm torn between making this one work since it's probably the most adjustable thing on the market, but I'm still uncomfortable and I have $2,400 burning a hole in my pocket. seat: I'll echo what everyone else says: it's not padded or "comfortable" in the traditional sense, but it does support you well for long hours. see last paragraph. leather or fabric: just go with fabric. it's cheaper. looks fine. doesn't get hot/sweaty/gross. I will say that, despite the constant need to adjust myself so that I don't go flying forward, this chair is in some way comfortable for long hours of usage. I don't feel nearly as sore as other chairs I've used for long work days. ... show more

  • This Is An Awesome chair
Color: Ebony Leather Size: Standard Height Range (16" - 21")
I bought this chair after I began working from home full-time, rather than just occasionally. My cheap office supply chair was fine for an hour or two, but not a long day during tax season. This chair has been amazing. Even after a very long day, I'm not sore anymore. I bought it for the 4-way adjustable arms, since I like the armrests really high, but I love all the other way this chair adjustable. It's great that I can adjust everything (but increasing seat height) while still sitting. My significant other has had a Herman Miller Aeron chair that they love, but tried my chair for a couple days, and now really likes the Steelcase Gesture, too. ... show more

  • The best gaming chair
Color: Ebony Leather Size: Standard Height Range (16" - 21")
Forget about those flimsy Chinese made faux leather gaming chairs that fall apart within a year. This one if worth it if you have the cash.
