If you are one of those people that wants your jewelry cleaned professionally at home like myself then adding a steamer to your cleaning/polishing repertoire is a must! I can't believe this company didn't add tweezers with silicone tips which is the only reason I didnt give them 5 stars. Make sure you use distilled water! Very easy to use I was just disappointed in the cheap tweezers; if you are cleaning your wife's 30k dollar engagement ring you do not want to scratch it! ... show more

This little machine is a beast! Completely worth the money. It builds pressure and when you push the front button down the steam pours out of the nozzle. They have a handy place on the back to store the tweezers that hold the jewelry. I actually have a pair of hemostats that I use because it snaps down to hold the jewelry verses me having to squeeze the tweezers together in the jewelry piece. It is HOT do NOT put fingers by the steam it is scorching hot. Don't leave this OUT where little fingers can push buttons. The steams forces out the built up pressure. And then needs a few seconds to build up more for a second time. The button allows for it to be pushed forward for constant steam or blasts of steam by just pushing down briefly. I love this so MUCH I bought my Mom one too! It beats having to stop and get jewelry cleaned all the time. A side note...use distilled water to prevent calcium build up in the tank. But if your looking for a way to make your diamond rings or jewlery shine...look NO more, this is gem! ... show more

Worked great until I had to add more water to it. Rubber came off after first use. Disappointed! I’m willing to exchange it because it works great and did the job. Hopefully, this was just a defective product.

    • Perfect Pressure
I put this unit near the front counter of our retail store for finishing when we are cleaning jewelry for customers to replace another unit after 8 years without having to spend the money on a larger professional unit. This unit has a great design, the LED light under the lip that shines onto the jewelry is a great addition to a steamer. The push button on the top works perfectly the unit is solid and stable enough you do not need to worry about pushing down. The on off button with reheating within a minute or so is awesome! We can turn our unit off when we do not have customers in once it heats up and through the day we just switch it back on when we put things in the ultrasonic and by the time it it is done in there the unit is hot and ready to go. This unit has a great pressure output for a really good length of time. It is the closest in a smaller unit like this I have seen to a professional steamers performance. It leaves jewelry looking professionally cleaned every time. This unit is built well it is a nice thick solid plastic with a stainless tank. The body of the unit does not get hot.     • Does not work as advertised
I returned this as it is completely worthless at cleaning jewelry. Right off the bat you should know this is only made to be used on jewelry with the hardest gemstones, so if you have any emeralds, garnets, zircons, etc, forget it. On the other hand, I have loads of diamond jewelry and it didn't work on anything I tried. One example, I was cleaning a man's diamond ring that was very dirty, the main stone was a 1.19 carat diamond with a very large opening in the back. I held it under the steam , turned it every which way and it didn't look any better at all. I then took the ring, dipped it in window cleaner, used a soft toothbrush lightly on it , rinsed it with water and that diamond sparkled. If this doesn't work as well as cheap window cleaner and an old toothbrush, why bother ? The gold wasn't any cleaner either. For that I use jeweler's rouge and a polishing cloth, both much cheaper than this machine. This machine is a nice idea that does not work. Maybe the very expensive pro models do that a jewelry shop may have, but this does not. ... show more
