My hopes for this we somewhat in the middle, but it actually works really well and is pretty easy to use. After about 2 min of assembly, I just filled it with water, turned it on, and it was about 20 seconds before I was seeing steam. I've never used a steam mop before so I had a bit of a learning curve. The main point being that you go kind of slow and deliberate in your motions to give the steam a chance to work. I have three conditions that really let this steam mop work well. I have dogs, I cook and bake alot, and I work outside often, so I constantly track things in. This steam mop really made a difference in cleaning up all the random spots and unidentified patches on the floor. It was quick and easy with no scrubbing needed, the steam does the work. I have not tried out all the assorted attachments, but I assume I will over time. Oh - one other area where it worked well. The water dispenser on the front of my refrigerator has dried streaks of water running down the front of the door from occasional overflows. No matter how many times I've tried to clean that, the deposits (or whatever they are) just never come completely off. About 10 seconds with the steamer and all those deposits were gone. That was worth it just for that alone.

I've never used a steam cleaner before, so I'm not sure what they are supposed to do or exactly how to use them - and the directions only indicated how to fill the tank and turn it on - so, I've been doing what I think is right and the floor is much cleaner than it was when I started. I'm slowly pushing and then pulling the steamer across the floor to clean and it mostly works. It doesn't pull off stuck-on pieces or scuffs, but after I've steam cleaned the floor, I go back and scrub at the hard to remove spots. I do always vacuum the floor before cleaning it and that helps with bits and pieces. The cover on the mop head gets really dirty and I wish I had two of them. I turned it around to the clean side and that too got dirty (yes, my floor was really needing a clean!). I removed the cover and rinsed it good in the sink and then put it back on the plastic head. The cover is easy to take on and off. This is easier than mopping the floor for sure!

Heats up quickly, has no odor, a robust handle with a long cord, and is suitable for engineered wood, laminate, or linoleum flooring. I haven't used the carpet glide apparatus or the furniture steamer yet, but I did take the furniture steamer out to check how easy it was, and it was extremely simple. This is my second steam cleaner, and it is quite efficient. Hopefully, this one lasts as long as the other one. Fills effortlessly and comes with two pads. An easy-to-read instruction manual. Try it; I believe you will be addicted. Works better than a swiffer wet jet or pads since it actually sanitizes the floor, leaving it virtually dry fast. 10/10! Fantastic product at a terrific price!

I had a different brand of floor steamer in the past and it was a bit more substantial: water tank larger, felt a bit more durable, and it had a feature that allowed you to blast a steady steam directly at problem spots on the floor. It always cost @ the same, however, it wasn’t a multi tool like this one. The handle seems a bit easily dented/or breakable, but that’s not happened…yet. I was able to use this as a hand held steamer and blast my oven back to new. Easily. The scrub brush attachment melted…or the steam caused the bristles to bend. Not great. The instructions do not tell you which attachment does what, nor how to use them. I see the listing has them listed by name, at least. Will be interested to see if this mop stands up to the test of time. Lightweight and compact.

Although this is meant primarily for mopping, I've found myself not using the mop head very often. I am using the steam nozzles and scrub brushes a bunch. Have cleaned window tracks, shower walls and doors, the hard water rings from my sink drains and toilet bowls. Going to try the scraper attachment on my oven door this weekend as I've been impressed so far! Wish it had an extra mop head for use while laundering the one it comes with though

This steam mop is awesome! It heats up super fast, and the cord is really long, so I can clean my whole house without having to unplug it. It does an amazing job of getting my floors clean, and I love that it's safe for all different types of floors. The only thing is, you can't use any detergent or cleaner with it, which is kind of a bummer. But overall, it's a great steam mop and I highly recommend it!
