Having the option of a magnetic mount was great for my application over a poorly lit stove area. Attached easily to the stainless steel overhead exhaust fan unit. Cord was plenty long enough to tack down to the underside of the wood cabinets and reach a nearby outlet. The only two things that made me rate four stars instead of five.....could have slightly higher lumens (brighter) and most importantly, the 'color tone' of the light could be better. The CRI or "color rating index" for this light must be on the lower end of the spectrum because it casts an odd color tone. Because it rated 5000K, I expected the color tone to be a clean, bright white but it actually has an 'orange' color tone. It's acceptable, but when working with food, illumination should be closer to 'white' not orange. Otherwise, great product, good price. ... show more

These LED Strip Lights are great!! I can't say enough about them... They are easily attached to any steel surface. The package includes small magnetic adhesive wafers, which can be attached almost anywhere and allow easy mounting of the strip lights. I have an over-range hood with light and exhaust, and this strip light gives off about three times the original hood light.
