I’m not sure it’s normal to look for a chair for months, but I did. I’d call it extreme reviewing. So there are a lot of comments about the difficulty with assembly for this chair. My response to that is, if anyone had trouble assembling this then they must also struggle with boiling water. It was so simple and instructions and hardware were perfect. Now on to this butt-comforting chair. It’s well worth the price. My backside has sampled many types of thrones and this one, by far, was up for the challenge. Now, I’m not saying my derrière is transcontinental, but it does require special attention in the cushion department. She may be big and built for speed, but she does need TLC for long days of virtual purgatory. Pros: wide, deep seat, high back, height and reclining bells and whistles, and arm rests with padding. Cons: the arms don’t go down so I can’t push it under my desk. That’s about it really. Price is commensurate with the quality. So if you’re wanting a comfortable oversized office chair, don’t just stand on the edge of the diving board like I did for three months, go ahead and take the plunge.

Like many I've been sent home to work. After a year at my dining table I finally got around to setting up a home office but I still had an uncomfortable chair. I ordered this chair after looking at MANY. It arrived 4 days early and it was easy to put together. This set is very comfortable and the back height is excellent. I am 290lbs and 5'4 1/2" tall. The seat does not squeeze me in the thighs at all, the seat depth is perfect, on the lowest setting my feet easily touch the ground and the back of the chair is the right height for me. the chair looks beautiful and is super comfortable.

I've been using thrift shop office chairs for years. While they worked, they were rarely comfortable. I recently started having continued back pair. My friend suggested that it might the my current office chair. I decided to buy a 'quality' office chair and see if that helped. This the best office chair I've ever had. It's well made, comfortable, and my back pair stopped after I purchased this office roller chair. I purchased it in the 'brown' over the other color -black, and it compliments my 'retro' office furniture. Additionally, I purchased a set of large silicone wheels to keep from scuffing up the hardwood floors with the stock wheels. Silicone wheels can be purchased from Amazon.com and your office chair will feel like its gliding on a cloud without leaving marks on the floor. I highly recommend this chair and all of the comfort it will provide one.

After an extensive search I selected this chair based upon its size and the reviews. The chair seems to be well built. Over the years I have assembled many different pieces of furniture. The instructions with this chair were the clearest that I have ever seen. A tool to aid in assembly is included. Using a rubber mallet to install the casters may be helpful. The chair has a wide seat and high back. Keep in mind the chair may not roll under most desks because of its size. The foam in the seat is a little stiff, but I am sure it will soften up over time. The casters roll just fine, but don't always swivel as smoothly as I would like. Overall I would have no problems in recommending this chair to my best friend. UPDATE: 10-21-20 I had a problem with the chair not rolling as smoothly as other office chairs that I have owned. When I notified the company they responded immediately and sent me a replacement part which solved the problem. I would give the company another gold star for customer service. This is something that one doesn't often see with vendors that ship.

I'm not going to bother you too much with this review. Long story short is I weigh 384 lbs and my left foot would often get swollen while sitting on my leather chair that I brought at BJ's. This STARSPACE chair is AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT, MY CHILDREN LOVE IT! I can sit for extended periods of time and not even notice it. My foot does not swell up. THE CHAIR FEELS GREAT!!! Its worth every penny!!! It slides across the floor with ease. I don't often take the time out to give reviews but STARSPACE earned it with this product. The leather feels AWESOME TOO!!!

I spent a lot of time looking for a good office chair. I work from home so I use this chair eight hours a day, five days a week. I've had it for a little while now and I can honestly say it is one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever had. It's this leather like fabric that is great because I have a cat and her fur doesn't stick to it. But mostly it's just something about the contours of the cushions that are perfect for my body. I'm a plus size gal so I needed something that would be large enough that it wouldn't squeeze me. This one has plenty of space for me. The arms are sturdy, the back is high, and I can sit in it all day without any issues.
