This could have been a great product. Initially it worked really well and then just quit working. We returned it without any issues and got another one. The second one was better than the first so we thought we were good to go, not so fast!! After several weeks it has quit working as well. So far so good!! This little vacuum surpassed my expectations! I have an 18 foot above ground pool and it’s not completely flat on the bottom. Other vacuums got caught on the seams or just stopped working. This one runs 2 hours straight and never gets stuck. It picks up dirt, leaves, and other debris with no problems. This cleaner started off ok. Then it quit working completely. Wouldn’t turn on, when plugged into power it would flash a single green light about every 15 seconds. I’m a 20 year mechanic so obviously I’m gonna take a peak thinking it’s probably a poor connection. Well I was way wrong! This thing was actually a ticking time bomb electrical fire waiting to ignite when you are fast asleep! Or it was waiting for the perfect person to electrocute to death! Water intrusion compromised ALL electrical components! and the best part was the janky seal kept the water in! Follow their instructions and charge it indoors when charge port is fully dry! I’m glad I aborted charging attempts when I did and didn’t get tricked by the flashing green light! Total time of ownership was 1.5 months. Followed all instructions for cleaning, charging, water entry/exit. China made garbage that could have burnt my house down or electrocuted a loved one. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Check out the pictures of the internals! All corroded and nasty!     • Not for algae
Great at removing dirt, sand and small leaves but fails to remove algae from the bottom of the pool. It winds up just blowing it out and circulating it into the water. Other than that, it's great.

I really had high hopes for this little pool roomba. But, as always, you get what you pay for. My first day I was pretty excited. I had done a shock treatment that left all the dead algea at the bottom of the pool to be sucked up. "Fred" moved around and pulled up a bunch of stuff. That was Fred's only productive shift. Now he just hangs out on the side of the pool. His battery lasts forever because he doesn't move. The few inches he does move does nothing except disperse the debris. The filter screen is fine, but my cheaper hand held vacuum that has to emptied every 2 minutes, actually traps more dead algea. Anyway, I would give this a 1, but I figure there might be some user error involved. ... show more

    • Flawed Charging Port Design
I used for 2 weeks and had to return. It cleaned fairly well in comparison to other auto pool cleaners I have used in the past. The charging port is recessed and exposed with no cover allowing water to collect. I dried the port out each time but continuous water submersion allowed water to seep into the holes in the port and it stopped charging. I definitely would NOT recommend this product. ... show more
